Beast pov.

I saw fear in her eyes as she held her daughter close, stepping back in a trembling motion.

"Please, don't hurt me," she pleaded, and I witnessed the little girl gazing up at her mother, her eyes filled with concern as she spoke.

"Mom, are you okay?" she asked, her voice quivering. Her mother met her gaze and urgently instructed her to run inside and lock the door tightly.

I approached her slowly, gently lifting her by the collar as she struggled to catch her breath.

"Where is she?" I inquired with a loud and anguished tone, my emotions laid bare, and her face clearly displaying her fear.

I didn't care about the consequences; all I desired was to find my wife, and I was willing to do whatever it took.

"Where is she?" I shouted, only to be met with the little girl's sobs. She was crying, and in that moment, I released her mother,

allowing the child to rush into her mother's comforting embrace.
