I watched my wife as she peacefully fell asleep, feeling a mix of concern and frustration bubbling up inside me. Slowly, I made my way towards the doctor.

"What's happening to my wife?" I inquired, my voice tinged with worry. The doctor's response was nothing but a nervous stutter, devoid of words.

Anxiety and anger welled up within me, and I approached her, lifting her gently, though my rage was simmering beneath the surface. It was heart-wrenching to see my beloved wife in such a vulnerable state.

Suddenly, I released my grip, realizing that Sierra would be devastated if she discovered I had harmed the doctor. I struggled to regain my composure, attempting to calm myself down. Moments passed, and I shifted my gaze to the trembling doctor who was desperately trying to distance herself from me. I could do nothing but stand there, my eyes locked onto her.
