Chapter 1: Chapter 1
"Hey, Chairman Luo Ke, have you arrived yet? We have been waiting for you for half day."
"I'm here."
The phone and the cool human voice came from the shop door at the same time, and Bai Xingrui raised her head and looked at her from head to toe, sighing in disappointment.
"You're still in your working suit, there's no need to be so serious, you're only twenty-three." She said stretching out her long legs in black silky tights, her red short skirt was hugging her hips, outlining her curvaceous body.
Luo Ke didn't even be bothered to look at her, she sat at the bar and raised her hand, signaling for a drink.
"Why did you ask me to hang out?"
"Can't I hang out with you for no reason?" Bai Xingrui pursed her lips and braced her chin preposterously, blinking her big eyes at her. She received Luo Ke's death glare, coughed twice and sat upright.
"It's your birthday today, I've specially prepared a present for you."
Luo Ke took a sip from her glass and watched as Bai Xingrui held out a large box with a cloth over it. She frowned, so big?
Bai Xingrui happily unrolled the black cloth, "Deng deng!"
Luo Ke looked at the weak kitten who was dying in the cage, barely able to mewl.
She expressionlessly said, "This cat was nearly dying because of you."
Bai Xingrui was shocked and hurriedly lifted the cat cage, but the kitten inside didn't move at all, its eyes were nearly closed.
She stretched out her finger to poke the kitten, started cursing, pushed the cage, and pulled out her cell phone to find the cat seller to settle the bill.
Luo Ke scanned the cat's corpse, her gaze was lingering on its closed eyes for two seconds, before she looked away.
"Meow-" the faint sound of a cat's mewl rang out.
Luo Ke was slightly surprised and looked at it again. The kitten opened her eyes as well to look at her, her amber pupils gleaming in the bar's light.
One person and one cat both froze, and then Luo Ke watched as the cat, who had just been weak, instantly jumped up, letting out a miserable scream, her entire back was arching and crashing backwards into the cage.
Bai Xingrui was still fighting on the phone and didn't notice them. Luo Ke turned her head and hooked her calves with her toes, and Bai Xingrui turned back a second later.
Luo Ke pointed at the cat in the cage, "Hurry up and take your cat away."
Bai Xingrui leaned over and saw that the cat in the cage was still alive, looked at Luo Ke, picked up her bag and ran, "I have delivered the birthday gift, it's now yours, bye bye~"
Luo Ke reached out and failed to catch her, sighing helplessly, tilting her head back to finish her drink and planning to leave.
A gentleman in the white shirt next to her saw the situation and handed her a glass of wine, "Miss, may I buy you a drink?"
Luo Ke didn't look at him, completely ignored him, carrying the cage, and getting out.
She pulled her car's door open, tossed the cage to the passenger side of the car. The kitten inside had stopped mewling and was lying in the cage, shivering, looking at her with big and timid eyes.
"How troublesome." Luo Ke spat out two words and started the car.
Lin Sifei, who crouched in her cage, hadn't come back to her senses. She looked down at her paw incredulously, it really was a cat's paw.
She was the treble winner Movie Queen, having millions of fans and hundreds millions of money, and she was currently a kitten.
Lin Sifei was lying in her cage, suffering from a headache. In the bar, she suddenly saw a group of giants, almost scared her to death, and now she couldn't stop shaking.
She tried to calm her brain, she had just been given as a birthday present to the woman in front of her. And she didn't have the hunting ability of a stray cat, being a house cat was the best option for her.
She scanned the woman driving next to her, with her cold eyebrows, slightly taut lips and thin face, she looked very badass. And she didn't seem very keen to keep herself as shown as when they were at the bar.
Her head ached again, and she curled up, trying to ease the pain.
Luo Ke, Luo Ke–
Lin Sifei recalled the name in her mind, her brow furrowing. The name was somewhat familiar, and she blurry remembered that the name of another woman in a red dress was… Bai Xingrui.
Lin Sifei stared fiercely, wasn't this the novel she had read before? The film and television industry was becoming stale, although she is the Movie Queen, her company still wanted her to star on a tv drama. She picked the one she liked, and then went back to check out the original source, and found out that the script is a counter attack of the devil, and the original novel is no good at all.
And then… She was in a car accident on the way to the office, and she was dead.
She's lying in her cage, eyelids drooping, 'My parents got a big inheritance for free, how hateful!'
She was sad for three minutes when the car stopped and Luo Ke picked up the cage and got out.
She was still not used to see a big human and stepped back in fear.
The way Luo Ke carried the cage wasn't gentle at all, Lin Sifei felt like she was on a pirate ship.
It's already dark, Lin Sifei's cat ears moved, after she became a cat, her hearing was much more sensitive, she thought she heard the sound of mosquitoes in the grass. She shrank her legs and made herself even smaller.
Luo Ke put the cage in the living room, opened the door, and turned around to take a shower and go to bed.
Lin Sifei waited for her to leave and jumped out of the cage. She looked around on the first floor and found a dressing mirror. She pressed both paws out on the mirror, and a young cat was reflected in the mirror.
Lin Sifei craned her head to look at it and had to accept that fact. After all these years of being a human, and now she started over as a cat.
She looked up at the light on the second floor, becoming even more desperate. Even more, she was the villainess' cat, and if the villainess went bankrupt later, she would have to become a stray cat.
Lin Sifei calmed herself down and was pacing back and forth in the living room. No, she absolutely could not become a stray cat. She remembered that in the book, it was written that the heroine and the villainess had a feud because she was bullied for a long time in the villainess' company, but she always worked in the villainess' company. On the one hand, her backers were angry, but on the other hand, they wanted to monopolize the heroine, so naturally they bankrupted the villainess' company to grab the heroine.
Lin Sifei sighed, this was completely a disaster from heaven. Apparently, as long as the heroine was fired when she first entered the company, then according to her stubborn nature, she wouldn't enter any other company under the Luo Group, this was equal to a single individual's hatred, afterwards it could be settled, as long as it is recognized that the heroine was terrible, and then the small hatred will be diffused.
Lin Sifei sat on the floor and squinted her eyes. Suddenly her stomach rumbled and she lifted her paw to press it, making even more noise.
The villainess hadn't given her dinner and she was going to starve to death.
Lin Sifei climbed up with a great difficulty and made her way to the kitchen, there was definitely food there.
However, Luo Ke's kitchen was clean, the drawers and refrigerator were not something she could open as a kitten.
Lin Sifei collapsed on the kitchen floor, wanting to cry.
"Tap-" "Tap-" "Tap-" "Tap-"
Lin Sifei's ears moved and looked back. Luo Ke, who was was wearing a silk nightgown with a towel on her head, was standing behind her.
She saw the cat was lying in the doorway of the refrigerator and sighed helplessly, "You looked for food in the wrong place."
She lifted her foot over the cat and crouched down to take a bag of cat food out of the cupboard, pouring it into the cat bowl, softening it with water and placing it next to the cat's mouth.
"Eat."
Lin Sifei moved her nose and smelled the scent. She managed to climb up, her mouth against the edge of the bowl.
Her mouth was salivating, and the cat food in the bowl was soaked in water that it was a little soft and started munching. Lin Sifei's throat moved, and she ate a little. In the end, she couldn't swallow the cat food, raised her head and meowed at Luo Ke.
Luo Ke frowned, "No?"
She took a deep breath and picked up her phone to search, "Goat milk?"
She opened the fridge, searched for a moment, carried out a bottle, and went over to the stove to heat it up.
"Bai Xingrui can be really thoughtful, the cat food and goat milk are all prepared, it was already planned, heh."
Lin Sifei shuddered at her tone, but soon the aroma of milk spread, and she couldn't help but swallow her saliva. By the time Luo Ke arrived with the goat's milk, she was eagerly waiting by the bowl.
The heat instantly steamed up and Lin Sifei wanted to drink it, but her body was suddenly raised. She was grabbed up by Luo Ke.
"Meow!" Suddenly being grabbed, made Lin Sifei became very frightened, she was unable to hold her tail between her legs and scream.
Luo Ke put her on the kitchen table and held her down to prevent her from moving.
Lin Shifei was so hungry and yelled "Meow Meow Meow" to Luo Ke because she didn't understand what she was doing.
After a while, Luo Ke picked up the cat bowl and put it in front of her. Lin Sifei tried to stick out her tongue, and the temperature was just right.
Luo Ke poured a cup for herself as well, "So you're not stupid, and you know it's hot."
Lin Sifei buried her head, so it was because Luo Ke was afraid that she didn't know it was hot, this person wasn't that cold and heartless.
The kitten's appetite is small, so it drank a small half bowl and was full. Lin Sifei raised her head, droplets of water splashed onto her eyes. She shifted her head reflexively, forgetting the difference of a cat's face and hit the rim of the bowl.
Her balance was unsteady and she stepped into the cat bowl, tripping directly over it, the whole cat knocking over the bowl, the goat's milk dripping all over the floor.
Luo Ke took a quick step back, yet some goat milk was split on her. She lowered her eyebrows, and started to to untangle the towel on her head.
Her long black hair fell down and draped messily over her shoulders. Lin Sifei laid on the kitchen table, her eyes glued shut as she looked at her lowered eyebrow.
'She is very good looking!'
Luo Ke picked up the towel and wrapped her, holding it up and directly rolled her.
Lin Sifei instantly stared at her and hiccupped in shock.
Luo Ke walked directly to the sink with the cat roll in her arms, turned on the faucet, unwrapping the towel, and put the cat in.
"Meow Meow Meow!" Lin Sifei stared at her legs in fear, she tried to grasp Luo Ke's hand with her front paws. But she couldn't hold it, so she reached out with her paws. Luo Ke hissed, holding Lin Sifei stomach with one hand and pouring the water with the other.
Lin Sifei's front paws held Luo Ke's fingers, she became a little more at ease. She remembered that she has just arrested someone, she hastily mewled in an affectionate manner, rubbing her face against Luo Ke's wrist
Luo Ke's eyebrows twitched, and frowned deeper.
Lin Sifei looked at her pursed lips and sighed helplessly, apparently this person really didn't like cats.
Hot water washed over her body, and Lin Sifei squinted comfortably. After all the scare she faced today, a hot bath would be so much of a relief, not to mention there was masseuse to help her wash.
She was too comfortable and she suddenly felt something was wrong. 'Where is this woman's hand touching?' She meowed and started stomping, not enjoying it.
Luo Ke frowned and squeezed her tail, rubbing her butt "A female cat?"
Lin Sifei laid down on her hands, 'There is nothing worth yearning of in this life!'
Luo Ke's fingers went upward, caressing Lin Sife's belly. Lin Sifei shuddered and meowed as she struggled into the water, "Stop touching!"
Lin Sifei stayed underwater for a second or so before Luo Ke scooped her up.
Almost instinctively, she shook her head as soon as she got out of the water, and the water went all over Luo Ke.
It was only after she has done shaking the water that she reacted with a stiff neck. She cautiously looked at Luo Ke and saw her gloomy face.
She was positively thinking about whether or not letting her touch when Luo Ke picked her up, pulled a towel and wrapped her, wiped her off, looked around and put her in the laundry basket.
Lin Sifei mewled as she dried herself on the towel, shaking the water and looking from the slit in the laundry basket.
She watched as Luo Ke opened the glass door to the bathroom and her bathrobe slid down to the floor.
Lin Sifei stared, paws over her nose, her face flushed red. She moved her hips and hid herself in the towel.
