Trust is earned, respect is given, and loyalty is demonstrated, betrayal of any one of those is to lose all three. The saddest part about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies.
Life has taught me that you can not control someone's loyalty, no matter how good you are to them, doesn't mean that they will treat you the same.
Sometimes you don't need to hear their excuse or what they have to say for themselves because their actions already spoke the truth.

LARA POV
I walked down the aisle, all eyes were on me, I saw the happy faces of the people I love, smiling sweetly to greet my happy day. I looked at the face of the man I had long admired and loved with all my heart. My heart fluttered when I saw the man I had chosen as my future husband, he was standing in the aisle and looking so charming in his white tuxedo like a prince. My steps stopped in front of him who looked at me with a fascinated face, sparkling blue eyes, a sweet smile with his pearly white teeth, and neatly arranged hair.
Slowly he opened my veil in the aisle and looked into each other's eyes, I'm melting away which was starting to burn, the fire of love in my chest felt sizzling, unable to withstand the turmoil of the soul, the turmoil of happiness.
"You look gorgeous like an angel, O my bride"
He said with his eyes sparkling even more.
"Even so you are my dear, I did not expect that the time will come when my wait is finally answered, I am extremely delighted that you are going to be my husband," I said, with my voice trembling as I stared deeper into his eyes, my eyes filled with tears that were about to fall.
"So am I, Queen" he answered, and as soon as he took my hand and kissed it gently without looking away, his sharp blue eyes dazzling like a real show-stopper was only on me.
He held my hands while saying a sacred vow,
"I, Chester Lannister, accept Lara Venus Florencia as my bride, I promise to be faithful to stand by your side, take care of you in times of joy and sorrow, in times of health and sickness, I will always love you until the end of my life. Will you accept me as your husband?" he said vows confidently making me melt in front of him.
"I..."
[ Slammed ]
my words stop right after I heard someone slams the door hard and begins to shout,
"STOP!" shouted a beautiful young woman with long hair, who came uninvited, she was wearing a white maxi dress, she looked younger than me, who is she?
"Excuse me, who is there?" I asked,
"This marriage must be annulled immediately!" she snapped sternly.
"What are you doing here?" Chester asked with a surprised face.
"You know her? Who is she?!" I asked him in complete astonishment.
"Just so you know, I'm Chester's girlfriend, and I'm pregnant with his child!" she said, without further ado.
"NO! She's lying, I don't know that woman! stop those lies, how dare you ruin my marriage! go home!" Chester shouted to drive the girl away, I don't know what I can believe, I looked at all the faces of the guests who witnessed this incident, and I was extremely embarrassed.
"Enough, whatever happened between you two, please settle it outside, don't embarrass me in front of everyone!" I insisted and walked away.
"Wait, listen, I can explain!" he grabbed my arm to try to stop me from walking away.
"Enough, I can't face this drama, how dare you fool me and deceive me!" I snapped full of anger and deep disappointment.
"You don't even know the truth, don't judge me without clear evidence, maybe she lied just to destroy our wedding" he insisted to convince me while his hand sealed my arm tightly.
"Alright, what is your name?" I turned my face towards the girl and begin to seek an answer from her.
"Emilia" she replied with her trembling voice.
"Could you show me any proof that you are having affair with my fiance and carrying his child?" I asked in a firm tone.
"I am 100% sure that this is his child, because I only had sex with him, right now I only have photo and video evidence of the two of us, but I dare to confirm that my child is Chester's biological child, we can prove it through a DNA test when this child is born later if you need solid proof, I'm ready to prove it" she answered firmly, assuring me that the baby in her womb was Chester's.
"Lara, for god's sake, that child is not mine, are you sure you will believe this woman's lies?"
"I don't even know who I can trust, all I know is, I'm too embarrassed to go ahead with this marriage, let's just go home, and finish your business with this woman, but before that, I want to see photo and video evidence of both of you, can you show me What evidence do you have Emilia?" I stretch out my hand before Emilia to ask for the evidence she has.
Slowly she walked closer to me and then handed me her phone, I grabbed her phone then opened the photo gallery and it turned out that the painful reality was real in front of me, the gallery was filled with photos and videos of the two of them that looked utopian as a couple.
My jaws drop, my eyes stunned staring at the screen with my thumb keep scrolling down and all I see is only their happy moments while he was not around.
"GREAT!!" I shout.
"Baby, I can explain just listen to me for God's sake"
"DON'T YOU DARE!!! Bringing God's name into his home with your filthy mouth, trying to deceive me some more and embarrassing me! HOW DARE YOU!! GET OUT OF HERE!!!" I scream.
"BABE!" He calls.
"GET OUT!!!" I shouting.
Alice ran towards me and grabbed my shoulder,
"Lara, calm down, Chester, how could you do this to her after several years together, it's awful!"
She yells at him.
"Alice, you don't know anything, stop butt into!"
he snapped at Alice.
"ENOUGH!" My mom shouted while getting up from her chair, she gave an icy stare and walks towards him.
[ SMACK ]
"Argh," he winced in pain.
She slapped him hard on his cheek until it turns red.
"Aunt Marry, I could explain" he convinces.
"SHUT UP! Don't you ever talk to my mom ever again! I need time to be alone, I'm leaving!" I shouted.
"Hold on, don't leave!" he snatches my arm, trying to stop me from leaving.
"DON'T TOUCH ME!"
[ SMACK ]
"Argh," he winced some more.
Another slap from me landed on his other cheek.
I fly off the handle and hit the roof, I am crazy mad about the situation and I feel like shooting him in the skull, God damn it! What a skunk!
I took off my heels and go barefoot, then pull up my dress running out of there without even thinking about anything. I am lost.
***
Lara had always dreamed of a perfect wedding day, with the sun shining and the birds singing. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans. As she stepped out of the church, the sky opened up and rain began to pour down in sheets. Lara's beautiful white wedding dress was soon soaked through, clinging to her skin and weighing her down.
Feeling disheartened and helpless, Lara began to walk down the street, her head bowed against the rain. As she trudged along, she noticed an old lady watching her from the shelter of a nearby porch. The woman's face was kind and wrinkled, and she held an umbrella in her hand.
"Here, dear," she said, her voice soft and gentle. "You look like you could use a bit of shelter."
Lara was hesitant at first, but the woman's warmth and compassion soon won her over. She stepped under the umbrella and felt the rain ease up on her soaked dress.
"Thank you so much," Lara said gratefully. "I don't know what I would have done without you."
The old lady smiled and patted her arm. "It's no trouble at all, my dear. I couldn't just stand by and watch you get soaked through like that. Please, come inside and wait out the rain with me."
Lara hesitated, unsure if it was safe to go into a stranger's home. But the woman's kind eyes put her at ease, and she found herself nodding.
Inside, the old lady's home was cozy and warm, with a fire crackling in the fireplace and the smell of baking bread filling the air. She offered Lara a cup of tea and a slice of cake, and they sat together at the kitchen table, chatting as the rain beat down outside.
As they talked, the old lady learned that Lara had just gotten married that day, and that her husband was cheating on her. Lara explained how she had always dreamed of a perfect wedding day, but that betrayal had ruined everything.
The old lady listened sympathetically, and then smiled. "Well, my dear, I have a feeling that this will be a day you'll never forget, at least God shows you that you deserve someone else who's worth it, and thank God you aren't ended up being married to someone like him, And who knows? Maybe the rain is a sign of good luck."
Lara smiled, feeling a weight lifted off her shoulders. She realized that even though her wedding day had not gone as planned, God shows his true color before it's too late, this is the worst day of her life that she would always remember for the rest of her life.
