Chapter 1: chapter 1 regular day

This story starts in Boston, in an old brick townhouse with the character Juliet, Juliet Jones, a tiny girl for her age of sixteen she has messy blonde hair with her fringe dyed pink and small piercings both on her eyebrow and her right ear. She woke up with a fright when her alarm clock rang out and fell off her nightstand and onto her head"o-ow! OK, I'm up!" she grumbled as she held her head where her clock hit her and looked down at the tiny timekeeper in her lap to see that she was late for school. She yelled as she jumped out of bed "heck heck heck!!! I'm late!" she rushed around her room to brush her hair, find her shoes and grab her bag, Juliet rushed into the kitchen to grab an apple and ran out the door towards school (she, of course, missed the bus) she did live near the school which was in her favor. Still, it doesn't help much. She rushed through the school corridors bumping into fellow students, knocking both her and others stuff out of they're hands. Almost rammed into an open locker door, but still made it to class. "Late again Miss Jones I swear you never want to leave detention, do you." said her teacher Mrs Tonia, Juliet hung her head as the other kids laughed and whispered (mostly about her) "please Miss Tonia Don't send me to detention I'll do anything else." Juliet regretted her words for Miss Tonia agreed not to send her to detention but to make her rearrange all the books in the library during lunch. The day went on, class after class until lunch. The time Juliet would meet with her friends Albert, Medusa, and Jack, as the other kids would call them the History freaks (for their names all being from history or mythology), Juliet was arranging books. Eating a sandwich as she did, the teachers didn't want her to starve. She had her headphones in as she worked book after book until "JULIET!" said her friend Medusa, Juliet jumped as her headphones were tugged out of her ears by her other friend Jack and Albert hugged her "SHH!" hushed the librarian and she looked up from her cup of coffee. They apologized, and Juliet started working again "what are you doing here thought you'd all be at the spot" Juliet whispered. "we thought about it, but it wasn't the same without you." whisper Medusa fixing her circle glasses. (her glasses were always too big for her) Juliet rolled her eyes at her group of friends they've known each other since kindergarten. Albert was the mom friend, even at the age of five. Jack was the wild card you don't want him out of your sight (the kindergarten teacher learnt the hard way) and Medusa the hyper baby that everyone wanted to protect, and Juliet was always the one with the temper ready to burst. Jack jumped in front of the book cart and said: "you know what we should do?" without waiting for a reply he said: "We should go to Mars." Albert stepped in and said: "The planet?! we won't breathe!" The girls rolled their eyes as Jack facepalmed "No not the planet big dummy I meant the diner, you know the one on fifth..." Jack said as he looked at his taller friend, Albert finally understood "oh! That mars" Albert said with a giant smile. They all laughed and went to the last class of the day and went to The mars diner. It was a retro Diner designed to look like it was in Outer space the waitresses were on roller skates and wore 'space helmets.' they ate and laughed. It started to get late, they all split the bill and left, Juliet and Medusa waved to the boys and walked towards their homes. Juliet lived on the corner, and Medusa lived one block over from her. Juliet waved to her friend and walked into her own home she looked around the house for her mother but couldn't find her. They even called out to see if she was there. She got no response, so she shrugged and wandered upstairs to her bedroom, she opened the door to see her pet (ferret), Captain. "Hey, bud you get into any trouble while I was gone?" Juliet asked as she opened his cage neither of them liked the idea of Captain being locked up. But her mother insisted, Juliet started to do her homework, so she wouldn't have to do it later and get in more trouble if she forgot, time past faster than she thought, she walked downstairs and to the kitchen to grab a bottle of soda and she bumped into her mother. "oh hey mama, how was work?" Juliet's mother (Rachel) looked at her daughter with a tired smile and hugged her "work was fine. Robert came to see me again." Rachel said as she pulled away. Robert is Rachel's newest partner Juliet knew of him though, and she was happy for her mother (even though Robert isn't her father) "That's nice mama did you tell him I said hi?" Juliet said and waited for a reply but didn't get one straight away "well actually sweetie Robert and I were talking and was thinking we could all go out, and you both can meet, and he has two guests he wants us to meet... yay."Rachel said as Juliet started to choke on the mouth full of soda. There was no way of getting out of it; they already planned it for that night. Juliet sighed and went to get dressed since she was in her pyjama's after getting dressed and having her mother almost rip out her hair trying to put in a cute hairstyle they were out the door waiting outside of the restaurant for Robert and the two mystery guests.
