As Team Trifang made their way to the tree fields, they were taken aback by the sheer number of spectators that had gathered to watch the tournament. It seemed like the entire city of Ashborne had turned out to witness the battles, with crowds of people lining the edges of the field and filling the nearby stands.
Lyra couldn't help but feel a bit unnerved by the attention, especially when a chorus of boos erupted from the crowd as they emerged onto the field. She glanced over at Lilith, who was standing off to the side, trying to distance herself from her teammates.
