Chapter 4: My rules

<p> Val pov(NARRATOR)<br/> I couldn't understand why my dad left us,if it was because of that woman and the money that she has then he was useless,my mom is a medical doctor,he was the one who told her to stop working and now he did this.it was what I feared most because when I was in class one(1)(in Turkey)I remember that one of my classmate dad left them,she was always seen crying,bittered and moody.<br/>    <br/> Well I couldn't understand at that time but I always pray that it won't happen to my family,but here we are,am just like her now. After that day mom sold the house and one of the car(dad took the other car),mom bought a house at the center of America, she bought two cars too,she asked for a transfer and after some days,it was given to her.<br/>      <br/> She was transfer to the hospital closer to our new house,BC hospital(Benny clear hospital),I was admitted into another school, well after changing my school,my life and behaviour changed too,i just hated boys and men with passion.<br/>    <br/>  I get disgust on seeing boys especially when I see a girl hanging out or chatting with a boy,I make sure I stay clear from them,but if they try to come close to me,I usually make them pay or teach them a bitter lesson that they will never forget in a hurry,that was why I made a rule for myself, hmm to keep me safe from those demons(boys).<br/> 1.don't seat beside or with a boy<br/> 2.don't speak to any boy<br/> 3.don't make any eye contact with any boy<br/> 4.don't ever fall for any boy<br/> 5.don't make friends with anyone(be it a girl or a boy)<br/><br/>    This was my rules,I call them my five strength,I wrote them on the wall of my room and I kept to them too,I avoided boys as if they were diseases,unclean water,monster and demons.<br/><br/>     (My mom started to complain about it, when she noticed that I was avoiding boys) val,you better stop this nonsense(mom said to me after one of my classmate(who was a boy)reported me to her)mom I won't,am fine the way I am,they should be the one to stay clear from me(I replied frowning)why won't you stop this your bad behaviour?(mom asked).<br/><br/>     Because I don't want to end up like you,I have made my rules and I am going to keep to it, nobody can make me change my mind,not even you mom(I answered,mom was quite for a few minutes before she finally uttered a word)Val you need to stop,if you don't,you will regret it(mom said with a sad voice)mom,dont worry I won't regret anything(i replied then she shoke her head and went to her room).<br/><br/> <br/> Val pov(NARRATOR)<br/> I knew my words really hurt and affected her but that was the plain truth,I was afraid to end up like her,i usually feel sad when ever I remembered that day,when my dad left.i will do everything in my power to make sure I don't end up like my mom(I said to myself).<br/><br/> I could still recall a scene that happened during my high school days,I was really beautiful and because of that many boys like asking out,but as usual,i always turn down their offer or request,most of the times I just snob them(am a good snobber),one of the boy who like asking me out name was John.<br/>      <br/> He was from a wealthy family,he was kind of cute but I didn't care,most of the girls were crushing on him but as for me,I saw him as another pest(whose duty was to cause harm to every living thing)and weeds(because he was not wanted),that day was a Thursday afternoon,I was heading to class from the library when John stopped me(it was our last term in high school).<br/><br/>      I want you to be my date to the prom-party(John said to me holding a flower,I looked at him)i am not interested(I replied then everyone started laughing,it was the first time he was getting rejected or turned down,I was about to leave when he got hold of my hand)let go of me(I said)come on babe,dont be like this(john said)or dont you like it here?(he asked) let me go(I said again but this time I said it with a angry tune).<br/>    <br/> If you don't like it here,we can go to the rest room and hangout there(John said with a wicked smile on his face,then some students started hailing him and shouting praises on him)wow!!!John my guy(one of John's friend cheered him up as he raised both of his hands up)I said let go of me now!!!(I screamed out).<br/>     <br/> Oh Valeria is really upset,babe calm down (John said and was about to touch my face but I got hold of his hand and I twisted it,I pushed him near the staircase(because we were upstairs and we were near the staircase).</p>
