No doubt, Wendy didn't receive any reply from Zen.

However, Michael held her shoulders tightly, comforting her, "She will."

Wendy leaned against Michael's shoulder and let out a sigh.

"Let's go back. If there's any issue, the doctor will inform us," Michael said.

Wendy nodded.

She couldn't do anything even if she were to stay there.

She could only see her and keep her company when Zen was transferred to the normal ward.

They returned home and had lunch. Michael supervised Wendy to make sure she went to take a nap.

Suddenly, Michael's phone rang.

It was Mr. York calling.

"Alright, I understand," Michael gave a short reply and hung up the phone.

"Did something happen?" Wendy heard that Michael sounded solemn.

"Nothing. Take a quick nap first," Michael hushed. He patted Wendy's shoulder, wanting to coax her to sleep.

"I can't sleep. Is it about Alice Johnson?" Wendy thought for a while and asked.
