Chapter 38: WHAT HAPPENED TO HUMANITY

I woke up to find Bestow beside me, she was dead asleep. I lifted the blanket to find myself naked. 'Holy shit what did I do?'

I looked at the wall clock and was already midnight. I ran my hands through my hair as the events of what happened started to appear in my mind like a vision. She was my wife after all. I convinced myself heading towards the bathroom.

I was done and all dressed when I received a call from my father-in-law.  "We have a meeting with Mr Anderson and I suggest you be there." He said and I smirked hanging up.

I opened the door and headed towards the bar section for another drink. I didn't want to get so wasted but being a little tipsy wouldn't do any harm. At least I wouldn't be reminded of the dark happenings that occurred during my grandpa's birthday.
