Chapter 171: Chapter 171 : A dream-like vision

Lilith was one of the demons with whom I made a contract. Most of the demons I contracted with were those I accidentally met on the way, but Lilith was a particular case. I remembered I called upon her by myself. Not that I remembered why, though. 

It should be because of something important because you would require a massive amount of magical power to summon a demon from the demon realm. Moreover, Lilith was not just any demon but one of the strongest demons out there. 

It was not strange for a mere mortal to lose their life while doing the summoning ritual, but for someone like me, whose body had assimilated with various demonic energies and flesh, it was not too much of a problem.

I understood it theoretically, but I could not seem to think of any reason which required me to do so. Maybe I had long since lost my human heart, or perhaps I had stopped being a human a long time ago.
