Chapter 1: Where Do I Start...
*Camera recording starts to play*
"Is this thing working?" A young woman taps a camera as the screen flickers softly in a dark room. Thunder can be heard softly rumbling in the background and rain tapping on a window nearby.
"Ah yes. Um I'm not good at this but I need to make a record of this somewhere. Where do I even begin..." the woman shifts nervously on a wooden chair.
"A few months ago my life was turned upside down. Everything I thought I knew was wrong." She stands up and adjusts the camera so she is in full frame.
"Let me show you what I mean. Don't freak out." She turns the torch on her phone on and holds it to her face. Small curly horns like that of a rams, can be seen sprouting from either side of her head. She slowly turns around to reveal two black feathered wings protruding from her back.
"I'm as shocked as you might be. It's rather a long story, and I'm afraid I don't have too much time, so I'll try to make this quick." The petite woman takes her seat and smiles sadly at the camera.
"It all started back in late September of last year..."
