Chapter 263: Returning to The Pit

At the upper-level arenas of The Pit, the Brawlers of Wu Ling's group had gathered together while a less lethal match played out on the sands of one of the smaller arenas. While The Pit was always happy to host bloody battles to the death between parties who felt they could no longer live under the same sky, most battles in the arenas were fought to submission rather than death. 

That didn't mean that the combatants might not die, however, only that killing their opponent wasn't the only way to end the match. Crowds formed every day to watch and wager on these lesser matches. Some of them were fought to settle grievances while others, like the one currently taking place, were fought by professionals purely for the entertainment of the crowd.
