The events leading to Night uttering such words were quite vague. From the perspective of Night, all the trials could be seen as moderately difficult. However, the trials were equally hard for everyone, and so far, there hadn't been a single player or NPC, other than Voss Howler, who had cleared it. 

Night's journey throughout the trials was rather short and extreme. If the contents were ever revealed to the public, then there would be many to jump the gun and criticize the game for going easy on him. Each of the trials taught him a lesson, a valuable one at that.

Many may step forward and claim that they could breeze through all the trials, however, Night's trials were awfully personal, and each of them required him to go under tremendous mental torture, to the point where his entire personality was almost broken.
