Chapter 35: Teardrop

It was a nice cloudy afternoon, an hour shy from the setting sun and the occupants of a particular flat in Bonington Hall were busy preparing dinner as they normally do;

Bryce was responsible to handle the meat to cook garlic butter steak and potatoes,

Sara was in charge of preparing sesame ginger roasted broccoli and

Coraline was in charge of dessert – chocolate fudge cake to complement with the steak,

Harith - the unofficial flat mate on most nights, brought drinks that go well with the dinner and had planned to sleep over for the night.

The table was set and meals were plated rather childishly, mocking their ability to mimic a fine dining experience.

"What do you think?" asked one of the girls with a satisfied smile on their face.

"Well, at least it's something to talk about," Bryce shrugged when he saw Sara and Coraline's artwork on the plate, carefully choosing his words to make sure the snarky tiger from making an appearance.
