Chapter 57: Adventure of the night flight

"Hey, Sara. Sorry to keep you waiting. Do you want to head out somewhere?" uttered the mystery man with a smile.

Sara gave a meek wave and replied, "It's alright, at least you're here now. Just give me a second while I grab my things."

Just before she made her way to her room, he strode closer and gave her the single stem yellow pansy.

"For you. Keep it in your room," he said as he patted her back gently.

Coraline was puzzled and felt suspicious by their exchange. 'Is someone already wooing her now that Lucas is out of the picture? Did she really move on or is this one of her friends?'

Not that she could benefit knowing anything out of this but her inner gossip self was itching to find out. To satisfy her curiosity, Coraline followed Sara to her room.

"So, who is he? One of your colleagues?" She tried to ask as casual as she could but the only respond Sara gave was a shrug. Not even a yes or no.
