I was thinking of creating three qi species to balance the number of mana species. First I thought of one that will resemble the universe. It will have an upper skin layer that will work the same as a qi formation. Under it will be a layer of qi dodecahedron grains.
Below there with be a fat-like qi layer. There will also be liquid qi streams like the blood that will travel under the control of a sole talisman that works as a heart. They will have a mouth and a nose, but both will be connected to their qi organ like a lung, where its alveoli are daitians.
All species will, in fact, be like that because as most of the qi is dissolved in gas and there were not any qi plants in their world I don't think there is any need for any digestive system.
Returning to their description, instead of a brain, they will have a solidified qi mind in its place. Their bones and muscles will have a format of qi metals, like a qi puppet. Their cartilage will be Sorbothane-like qi. Their muscles will charge themselves with qi and move.
They have in the column region a place where the origin qi will store and be released from when needed to heal them. They will have normal reproduction organs( some will be male others female) where they will release primordial qi that when combined with the other will produce a fetus. I name them cultivators.
I decided to go make another non-humanoid rational being that's basically a headless mule. It does not have a head, even though it has a brain in the place where the stomach would stay. It has purple ever-burning flames in the place of its head. It has a strong sonar-like sensorial ability and a be able to sneak around, by a sort of hypnosis-like qi ability that reduces their target sensorial level of awareness of them. The stronger they were, the more these abilities will grow.
Last I created a yin-yang specie, because yin-yang powers seem interesting, and have enormous potential, as they represent the duality of existence and opposites equilibrium in practically anything in nature; and seem to fit well with qi.
They were humanoid with males being the yang half, while the yin were females. Each will have a different power that uses a concept associated with yin(females) or yang(males).
Each will have a yin-yang partner that will resonate perfectly with their powers forming together a stronger power that comes from the combination of their powers. I will not obligate them biologically or magically to have romantic relationships with these partners, because I don't think using magic to make couples is a good idea.
Females will appear like they were a sort of living ice, while males appear like solidified flames. Though, they will not hurt each other while touching.
I sent the cultivators to the eighth planet of the solar system, the headless mules to the second planet, and the yin-yang specie to the sixth world. I wanted to create, at least, a peculiar energy specie, but I felt like there was a sort of barrier that did not allow me to make it. Probably a knowledge barrier. Even with Siraj and his son Arche's explanations, this energy still felt too random to me.
So, I think I will use the multiverse search devise to look for some information that may help.
