Chief was utterly surprised when he heard Draven's confession out of the blue. What, he could solve the problem of the spirit dissipating? Why won't he tell him he could make a Saint appear right at the moment, then?
Both scenarios were totally unbelievable, yet Draven claimed he could… of course, not the latter.
Turning his head and staring at Draven with doubtful looks, he questioned:
"What did you say?"
Draven, staring in return into Chief's eyes, felt his heart throbbing at a rapid rate. It seemed the Chief, even though was still skeptical of his claim, decided to trust him.
After all, he completely gave up on his decision and instantly trusted Draven entirely without hesitation. It was evident how he stopped his hand from drawing runes to completely seal the spirit inside the sword.
Draven recognized the runic pen really well, but as much as he wanted to continue pondering over it, he was pressured by the Chief's gaze.
