Chapter 78: The 9th night

No surprise the mysterious beating of the drums stopped once Charm and the others entered the clearing that night.

"Genesis told me that you tried very hard to save the spirit warriors that had been attacked by the demon butterfly. Unfortunately my niece, who was also the supervisor of the kitchen staff, was one of those that were seriously injured. We tried to repair her body but her mind was broken. Anyways, tonight is the celebration of her 9th night."

The fact that Genesis felt that she could handle herself amongst these strange people was astounding; it meant that his confidence in her had grown.

"What's a 9th night?" she asked out of curiosity.

It was Genesis who tried his best to simply explain it in a way Charm could understand.
