A familiar voice teased, it was the demon from earlier.

The one that she taunted earlier was here to take revenge.

She couldn't respond, her voice was gone it felt like even her vocal cords had gone numb.

Only this flashy demon was walking about freely.

Everyone else was in a state of suspended motion.

The shapeshifter might not be able to speak or act but their facial expression spoke volumes. 

It could not hide their outrage at being thwarted by one of their ilk.
