Chapter 13: A CEO maid.
He gently tapped her back while she coughed, "Sorry" he said.
She turned to him, "Don't worry my sister is going to help me with that when she gets back"
"Will you be able to hold on till then you look uncomfortable?" he said.
"I can don't worry," she said.
His phone rang and Nathan got up to answer it.
When he returned, "Can I work from here as I keep you company"
"If you are busy then please don't hesitate you can leave" she answered.
"I don't want to leave you alone until your sister gets back," he said.
She sighed, "It's okay you can go ahead"
He smiled and got back to the phone, "Send them to my email" he said.
After he hang up Nathan asked if he could use her laptop and she pointed to her study.
After he left she sighed laying back down.
"Alex, Alex...." she woke up to Cynthia's voice.
"Mmm, your back" she yawned.
"I finished my work in a hurry so I could return to take care of you. I told Dad and he said take your time to get better and he promised not to tell mom" she reported.
"Thanks" her eyes opened to see that she had been covered. She looked around not seeing Nathan, had he left?
"What's wrong?" asked her sister.
But before she answered Nathan walked in from her study, "you're awake, I heard your sister's voice"
Cynthia got up in awe at seeing him in her sister's home.
"Oh Mr Livingston" she smiled
"Hello Miss White we meet again"
"Yeah, am sorry I didn't know you were here"
He nodded turning his eyes back at Alex, "Are you hungry, I think it's time you have something" he said.
She nodded and he walked to the kitchen. Cynthia slowly moved to her sister's side and whispered with emphasis, "What is he doing here and why is he serving you like a maid?"
Alex snickered. "He came to check on me since he was the one who brought me back last night and clearly his helping me cause I can't move yet"
"But, do you know who he is and the way he looks at you, but wait? You said he dropped you home last night why didn't you tell me "
Alex frowned," I didn't tell you cause you didn't ask and Of Course, I know who he is I tried pointing it out to him but he claimed that had nothing to do with him coming over here"
"Oh God, my sister has a full CEO and the richest heir in the country doing her chores "Cynthia laughed.
"Please don't start saying weird stuff in front of him, I also don't know why his doing things but I can't stop him either," she said.
Nathan walked back holding a tray with food, "I warmed up the one I bought, and added some juice and water so you can take your medicine too" he gently placed it down next to her.
"Thank you" she smiled.
"Try some" he pointed at the food.
"Okay" Alex picked up her fork and started to eat. Her eyes opened wide in surprise, "it's good"
"Go ahead then" he smiled leaning back as he watched her eat.
Cynthia who felt she was interrupting something slowly moved away to the kitchen.
