I nod at my progress and ask my system a question that I've been meaning to ask for a long time.
"System. Can you explain the 'System Link' Function?"
[The 'System Link' function will allow you to connect a chosen person to the system interface. This will allow them to travel to wherever the main system is and gives them some basic Functions of the main system.]
I nod in affirmation and roll to my side in deep thought.
'If what the system said is true, then I'll need to make a big decision. On one hand I could push her away. It would break her heart, but she would remain safe and out of harms way. On the other hand, if I decide to link her, I would have to explain everything about myself and what will happen in the future. I would have to tell her every little thing about me, including my true origin. She would be put into harm's way, but I would be able to help train her and, if needed, step in to protect her. We would also be able to remain in a relationship.'
After thinking about my future, I drift off to sleep. Three hours later I wake up and get out of bed. Thinking that it was daytime, I step over darkwing and walk to my front door. I open the door and take a step outside, only to hear a Viking on my left shout out a warning.
"FIRE!"
I look around me to find houses on fire and dragons rushing around. Seeing the fires raging, I hop on darkwing to try and help the best I can. As I grab a bucket of water, I see the hiccup giving the other dragon riders orders while putting out the closest fire to them.
Even though we live with dragons we still have fire problems sadly. After thirty minutes, we finally put out all of the fires and everyone heads back to their homes. When the sun rises, everyone gets out of bed and starts their day. When I wake up, I head over to see how Astrid is doing. I walk around the village looking for her and after ten minutes I spot her helping to rebuild a house.
I walk up and ask, "Need any help?"
She turns and says, "Sure. Can you help with moving the new logs for the roof?"
I smile and respond, "Sure thing."
A few hours and a couple of new houses built later, we finally have time to ourselves. The sun sets and with the rising of the moon I head off to do my nightly training. I finish my weapons training three hours later and quickly wash off before Astrid gets here.
'System. How do I use the System Link function?'

A few minutes later I hear some ruffling to my left. I turn to see a naked Astrid walking towards me. She enters the water and swims toward me. When she reaches me, she moves in for a kiss and after a few hours of love making we decide to lay with each other to watch the stars.
After a few minutes of relaxing I hear Astrid ask, "What's wrong?"
I smile and say, "You know me far too well."
I pause for a moment, then ask, "Do you trust me?"
She nods and I say, "If that's the case then close your eyes. I have a surprise for you."
(Astrid POV)
Usually when I get woken up because of a dragon fire, I would be ecstatic to fight and possibly kill a dragon. Tonight however is not one of those nights. I had just gotten back from having the best time of my life with the man of my life, and I had just gotten to sleep when I had to get up and start putting out fires which took us three long hours to put out all of them. After putting them all out I head home to find that my roof was partially burned. As a result, instead of sleeping in my own bed, I had to sleep in our neighbors house. The next morning I had woken up early to try and fix our roof. While I was taking a small break I heard my love walk up behind us and offer to help. I, of course, accepted and we were able to finish in a little under an hour. He then went off to help whoever else he could find while I went inside my house to have a nice and long nap. When I wake up I notice that the sun is beginning to set. Instead of going back to sleep I decide to take an evening walk. While on my walk I notice a certain white haired man sneaking into the woods with some sort of chain with a ball on one end and a spear tip on the other. I follow him to our special spot in the safe haven and watch him train with the strange weapon. When he finishes his training, I jump down and walk over to the waters edge. I begin to strip so that I can join him and when I reach him I move for a passionate kiss. A few hours of love making later and we are laying on the grass, watching the stars. I can feel the tension in his body, so I decide to ask about it. His response to my question is another question. The question shocks me and I instinctively answer honestly. He asks to close my eyes and when I do, I hear him say something in a strange language.
