Chapter 23: A New Plot is Hatched
A few days had passed without any major occurrence. Berengar had found himself getting dreadfully bored as his work schedule appeared to have come to a halt. Due to the trustworthy and competent people he had placed in implementing his innovations, he had recently acquired an asinine amount of free time. If Adela were still within the confines of his family's territory, then he would currently be enjoying her company.
Unfortunately, she would not return to Kufstein for a few weeks. As such, Berengar recently found himself training in the art of swordsmanship with his personal retainer Eckhard. The two men were currently sparring with a pair of wooden arming swords. In which Eckhard was thoroughly beating the young lord who had never picked up a sword until a few days ago.

Zentmeister I would like to take the time to apologize for the lack of a chapter yesterday. I had made a mistake Friday night and hit the town with a group of friends, and I had way too much to drink. By the time I stopped drinking and got to bed, it was around 4 AM, and when I woke up the next day, I was in no condition to write. I attempted to write, but after getting halfway through the chapter, I realized practically everything needed to be scrapped and just gave up as I simply could not get my creativity flowing. This usually happens once or twice a month, so if you don't see a chapter update on the weekend, it's probably because my friends are a bunch of drunkards, and I tend to drink a lot when I am with them. Peer pressure is a bitch ain't it?
