Chapter 13: The Boxes
As Jai fell asleep...I took her to lay down in her bed. I decided to lay with her..just to keep her safe..in case..uhh.. anymore bunnies come back. When I awoke the next morning..she was petting me with her tails. She then got up and turned into a human girl in a blue kimono with white foxes. She still had her eats and tails. She went to another room saying she's going g to make breakfast. " wait..I wanna make pancakes!.." I started to say.. but she came a little later with all kinds of good stuff.
She sat down and watched me eat a bit before coming back with a small box with white fox paws... " uh oh.." I thought... " what's that.."
She handed me the box and asked if I could keep it safe because she felt she could trust me with it. Jai opened the box.. took the dagger in it out and then explained about essence daggers and how they are the only thing possible to kill immortals.
I then remembered something.
She followed me...to my old burned home.
