Silence filled the entire room while Freya and Hans, along with Chess, hid themselves behind the kitchen counter. Hans made sure to keep his breathing quiet by covering his mouth with both of his hands.

Freya, on the other hand, just clasped her sweating hands together as she kept herself down.

"I'm in."

A low voice floated over followed by several heavy footsteps. Chess listened carefully, staying guarded and alert.

The voice was unfamiliar. And based on the texture, it seems like the person who just spoke had something covering his mouth… probably a mask.

"It's clear. No one's around." Once again, the man spoke.

On the other side of the road, just across the university, the man positioned in front of a window pressed something on his ear. The voice of the man inside Chess' room came floating over. Then, with his eyes focused on the scope, he answered back.

"No. There was movement earlier. Check the place carefully." He then instructed.
