In the Upper East Side of New York every teen was doing something from shopping to having brunch at the most exclusive places all laughing and enjoying themselves without a care in the world. The sun was shinning and the weather was nice, for once most weren't in the Hamptons as just days away another social event of the year was taking place.

The marriage of one Lily Van Der Woodsen to one Rufus Humphrey, while Rufus wasn't the embodiment of wealth or lived in their area they all knew that him and Lily were meant to be even after all these years. Which is why no one was planning to miss this social event of the year, instead they all shopped for the latest dressed and were now waiting for the curtain call.

Suddenly ringing of phones and notifications on laptops went off causing every teen and some adults to check them all seeing a blast for the notorious webpage of Gossip Girl.

'Spotted the long awaited Prince of the Upper East Side returning just days before his aunt's wedding. Was it really just two years ago that he was here walking around the undisputed prince? And where has the prince been all this time? Hope your watching B, because it seems the real Prince has returned. Thanks SimonLL for the photo.

You know you love me, XOXO, Gossip Girl.'

"Oh my gosh!" An Asian girl said as she looked at the blast standing behind the undisputed queen of the Upper East Side Value Waldorf.

"Kati, you know I don't like to hear gasp. Just speak already, you have been quiet a full minute, the blast couldn't have been as bad as when Serena first returned." Blair said with an eye roll as she fixed the placement of her headband.

Isabel rolled her eyes as she spoke up seeing Kati still frozen, "Gossip Girl just blasted that the prince has returned with a picture and all. It seems Ryan Robins is back in the Upper East Side."

Blair froze as she looked into the mirror years of memories flashing in her head, "Get out." She said softly but commandingly which they caught as they scrambled out the room as fast as they could.

When they left Blair slowly stood and walked with the grace she always had going over to her blue dresser, slowly she opened the bottom most right drawer and took out a photo album. It was neat and tidy like everything around her, she caressed the black book gently before making her way back over to her bed and slowly flipped it open.

She smiled gently as she saw the first picture that appeared, it was of her and a small boy with blonde hair with red eyes, while they were both poised looking utter perfection the boys face showed boredom as opposed to the smile she wore. It was their first picture together that she could remember, a memory she always cherished not realizing how much she really should have.

"So you finally come home huh Ryan?" She whispered flipping through the book which showed them aging through the years before stopping on the last one, it was taken two weeks before the end of sophomore year. Two weeks before her best friend went away and instead of preventing it basically pushed him to leave.

A single tear hit the picture as she sat alone in her bed weeping.

"I hate being here already." Ryan announced as they drove the town car though the city. The place was crowded and as a wolf he felt caged in, he didn't like it here at all but that was only part of the reason he didn't like it.

The other was obviously the memories he had here, which until his last weeks of sophomore year were great, but then they all went crashing down at the end. He shook the memories off not wanting to even think about them, he would need to convince his grandmother to leave after the wedding, he didn't plan to stay here longer then needed.

"It will be fine Ryan, I mean you get to see Blair again, right?" His mother said with an encouraging smile, and being a better mother then she use to she caught the grimace that was shown as the name was mentioned. It only confirmed what she had been thinking, the two best friends had a bad falling out.

"Is the house cleaned?" Ryan asked as he was never told where they were staying. He also was really trying to avoid the topic of Blair.

"We won't be staying at the house. Your father got it in the divorce hen sold it before he fled with his new woman to rome last month." His mother said with disdain as his grandmother shook her head.

"I already have rented out the penthouse at the Archfield, they are waiting for us. Plus it is near where the wedding will be taking place." His grandmother said with a smile.

He nodded, he didn't really care where they stayed, as long as nothing interrupt his time here then he would be happy to stay until the wedding was over. Though he did want the day to himself so he didn't plan on actually going to meet his cousins today, while he did miss Eric, Serena could be a little much.

When they made it to the hotel his bags were taken upstairs and he was given a room key, he decided to go out rather then sitting around though, "I'm going to Saul's for some cheesecake." He told them both before lighting a joint and walking away.

"Don't get caught smoking that while walking!" He heard shouted for his mom behind him, all he did was wave it away.

Saul's was a place that in his opinion had the best cheesecake, the other plus side was that it was in the Bronx rather then the Upper East Side so he didn't need to worry about running into any of them. Since he always used a special way to get there he didn't even need to worry about the Gossip Girl blast as she never found out where he went.

After getting lost in thought and high he finally made it to Saul's, Rosalie called right as he walked inside the bakery/diner, "Hey beauty, how are you today?" He asked as an answer.

"I'm good. I was just calling to let you know that I am at the house now and all your plants were moved perfectly. Question though, what are we going to do with the extra rooms?" Rosalie asked no doubt looking at the plans she had set in front of her.

"I was thinking---" Ryan started but cut himself off.

"Ryan." Blairs voice sounded out from next to him and he squeezed his phone a little tighter in his hand.

"Ryan? Are you there? Is everything okay?" Rosalie asked since he had just stopped mid sentence.

"Yeah, I will call you back, something has come up. Don't worry I am fine, stay safe. I love you." He whispered so only Rosalie could hear him.

"I love you too. Call me when you are free." Rosalie said letting him go.

Letting out a breath Ryan turned, Blair looked exactly like he remembered...perfection. There was not a silky brown hair out of place, her plump lips shinning with what he had no doubt was watermelon flavored lip gloss, she was in a summer dress that worked her figure well.

Her brown eyes filled with tears as they looked into one another's eyes, Ryan let out a deep breath that he had taken in at some point as he watched her. It slipped his mind that he had brought her here, this place had once been the place they came too when things became to much and they wanted good cheesecake.

They had spent hours here after her parents divorce her crying into his side, this was their safe haven a place to just get away from it all, even if she was a Upper East Sider through and through. Their shared past flashed into his head, years of memories working their way to the surface which he knew eventually that he would need to work out.

"Blair." He said calmly as he walked around her and to the counter where a pudgy man was standing with a smile, "Hey Saul, can I get a slice and a caramel coffee please?"

"Ryan! So good to see you kid, missed you these past couple of years. What did you decide to move back after graduation?" Saul asked with some hope in his voice.

Ryan shook his head, "No, just here for a wedding then I am off again. I will need to call in some orders for my order though while I am here, you still deliver?"

"Never did kid, but for you I will have someone send over three just so you can snack on." Saul laughed as he moved to get his order.

Ryan nodded and paid before heading to his table, he could hear the heels clicking behind him so he knew that Blair was following him. Taking a seat in a booth she sat right across from him, "What do you want Blair?"

"What do I want? How could you even ask me that Ryan! You left without even seeing me, then show up two years later!" Blair growled, "Why haven't you called me?!" She demanded.

"Called you!" He shouted not caring if they got attention or not, "Do you not remember how it ended Blair? Or are you just pretending to play stupid?" He asked glaring at her.

"Ryan I---" she said weakly they both knew that the last time they saw one another it hadn't ended the best.

"Just go Blair." He sighed but she didn't move.
