When I reincarnated into a novel as an extra, I thought I’d be able to take the main character’s place and become the hero of the story itself.

…That didn’t work out.

The threat trying to destroy the world was too strong, and every time we fought, I’d lose every time. My talents were subpar and willpower faltering.

It took a long time before I joined hands with the protagonist and a few others who never appeared in the story, but by that time it was too late.
