Qin Zhan looked up only to find that Gu Xin Ye was staring at the small cake she made and wondered what was going through her mind. 

"What's wrong?"

His voice made Gu Xin Ye looked up. "Hmm... I just could not figure out why the cake I made wasn't as good as yours."

They were using the same cake and ingredients. Why was her cake different than Qin Zhan's? He had taught her how to do it, but Gu Xin Ye could not figure out how to smoothen the cake properly. 

It did not matter if the cake was assembled using the same ingredients. In the end, there will be a difference between a professional and an amateur.

"Let me look at it." Qin Zhan walked over to Gu Xin Ye to inspect the cake that she made.

He thought that the cake that Gu Xin Ye made looked quite good, especially as she was still a beginner. 

"Mmm... show me how you do it."

"Oh." Gu Xin Ye picked up the small spatula and began to smooth the cream on the cake.
