Chapter 127: Future  

[Trinity's POV]

I looked over at the interior of the place we were in. White painted walls lined with gold moldings, marble polish floors draped with carpets, chandeliers adorned the dome ceiling and intricately carved furniture from an expensive old tree. 

It was Prince Zen's secret meeting place. Its entrance was detached from the palace. It was connected in the nearby forest, and it was Prince Zen who personally escorted us to his estate together with his few selected personal guards. 

We already expected that the Prince wouldn't be alone. Only a foolish man would trust someone he had just met, so we were not surprised that he was together with his guards.

I was at ease the whole time while Michael and Dorothy were on edge like there was a sword pointing behind their backs.
