Victor fell silent, focusing his gaze ahead, while Monica's eyes settled on the black mole on his right earlobe. It was as if he always wore a black diamond earring, which gave him an aura of dangerous charisma.

"Are you staring at me because you want me to kiss you? To hold you? Or..."

Suppressing her anxiety, Monica took the initiative and reached out, clutching Victor's arm and dodging his smoldering gaze, "Before we go to our new home, could you accompany me to another place?"

"After we go, tonight, can we proceed with what we didn't finish last night? Hmm?"

Victor asked lightly, taunting. Monica cannot conceal her nervousness, for she knew she may not have the courage she had last night. Victor didn't insist, nor did he speak. He let her clutch his arm, his mouth hooked in a subtle smile beneath the cover of the night.
