Serena traced Charlton's chest as she lied on her side, her head nestling at the crook of his arm. Recalling what transpired earlier, from when Charlton sang in the soiree, them escaping the event together unbeknown to everyone in attendance, then their intense love making which followed, she couldn't help but smile. 

Charlton placed his hand on top of hers to effectively stop her finger's movement. "What's on your mind?" he asked.

Serena looked up, her eyes curving as she marveled at his handsomeness. She shook her head. "Just thinking about everything that happened earlier. How come you didn't tell me about the song beforehand and since when have you had it prepared?"

Charlton's dimple deepened. "I wanted to give you a surprise. I had it prepared about a week ago but only had the chance to present it to you now." He replied.

"Really? Are you sure you didn't do that now with an ulterior motive?" Serena teased.
