Chapter 50: Beware of me

Suzy was finally ready for the reception. The sleeve ivory dress had a long slit till her mid-thigh. The professional hairstylist and makeup artist made sure to give her the perfect look with minimal makeup. 

"Suzy, are you ready? It's the time we should go downstairs," Chris said as he entered the room. He was awestruck to see her. She looked drop dead gorgeous in that dress. 

"Yeah, I'm ready," Suzy replied subtly. "I need to wear the heels. Then, we will go downstairs," she asserted. 

Chris signaled the hairstylist and the makeup artist to leave. Once they left, Chris went to the chaise on which Suzy was seated to wear her heels. 

"I'll assist," Chris opined and got on his knees. 

"I'll do," Suzy murmured, but he snatched the heel from her, asking her to sit quietly.
