Chapter 216: Truths and warnings - Part 1

"Your Highness," Both Alastair and Kirill stared at the old King, wondering how he knew about Samantha and what he wanted to speak about her. His bewilderment was quite evident in his eyes, and the old King smiled to himself on seeing him. 

What baffled Alastair all the more was how active and contended the old King was. Even though he was on his deathbed, it seemed as though he was still ready to battle it out if required from his physical appearance. But Alastair knew that all of it was in the exterior. The couple was dying slowly, and it would be any minute when they would leave the world.

"Do you want to ask how we found out about Samantha?" The old King teased with a mischievous glint in his eyes, and Alastair nodded silently.

"Follow me inside, son. I have a lot of matters to discuss with you, and it might take some time." The old couple led Alastair to the small hidden cave where they were staying while the two dragons stayed outside.
