Chapter 84: Powerful?

The girl rushed back home, making sure to keep an eye around her. The dark, empty roads did not scare her, for she had faced more horrifying situations in life. The girl understood that she could not cross the wall invisibility like she usually did as she was not as strong as Novalie. But she had another way she could use to reach the man on the other side.

Her lips rose when she recalled Novalie's warning. Warnings never worked on her, for she never abided by the rules. But nobody in Ambra knew about it. The girl had a side to her which nobody knew about, and she was fortunate for it. It was a secret she wished to take to her grave. 

As she approached her home, she hastened her footsteps. She had to finish her task before the others returned. Taking another look behind her, she entered the house and went towards the room, where she had placed the paraphernalia that could help her reach the man.
