Chapter 238: Danger - Part 2

"Samantha," Alastair yelled in fear, his eyes tearing up immediately. Seeing her faint had made him lose all his rationality and he could barely keep himself composed. 

Samantha's face was ghastly pale and gradually, her body was turning cold. Her breaths were slowing down and there was no response from her whatsoever. If not for the slow yet barely visible movement of her chest while she took her breaths, one would assume her to be a corpse.

"Samantha, please wake up. Do not scare me, darling." Alastair wailed, still in disbelief to think that the girl he had been teasing a moment ago and who responded to his mischievous tactics with an embarrassed and flustered face was now lying unconscious before him.

"Please, wake up." He held her hand and begged her to wake up. But nothing happened. Samantha stayed still while her hands turned ice cold.
