That was what engulfed Samantha and Saorsa after they left the garden and entered the castle. Neither among the duo was willing to initiate a conversation, not when they were lost in thoughts of their own.

While Samantha was still recalling the miserable and painful expression she had seen on the King's face, Saorsa recalled the strangeness and desolation she had sensed in the air when she had taken a look at the couple before she had gone to them. A heaviness was surrounding them, and Saorsa did not know what had happened and why they had turned solemn and desolate.
