Chapter 3: Virtual Reality
Kira looked at his right side and saw Kenji sleeping on his desk. He turned his head on his left side and saw Yuki seriously writing down notes. Both of them were his seat mate and friend, while his other friend, Haruto, was sitting at the front row.
He met them when he transfered in this school. At that time, the whole class already formed their circle of friends. Fortunately, Kenji talked to him and introduced him to his friends.
After class...
"What happened to you yesterday?" Haruto asked Kira.
Kira looked at Haruto.
Haruto is a tall young man and have a good physique. He has a short spiky silver hair. That's right, he has a silver hair. It seems that people here have different hair colours compared to earth which only have blonde and black color.
If Kenji is a straight forward man, then Haruto is a pervert who like to do things behind their back.
"I don't know..." Kira shook his head.
"That's why I said that you should stop that kind of things." Haruto smiled and said.
"Huh...?" Kira was confused then he realized that Haruto was teasing him when he saw his smug face.
"Okay, I'll stop taking that medicine." Kira just go with the flow.
"Huh... What are you talking about?" Kenji said as he couldn't followed their conversation. He had no idea what they're talking about.
"They're talking about you." Yuki who was reading a manga said.
She adjusted her glasses and secretly glanced at Kira.
"Let's go to karaoke or play virtual game." Kenji said. He was bored and want to do something fun.
"I don't want to sing." Kira shook his head. He recalled that the original Kira used to go out with them. They always go to karaoke and among the four of them only Yuki was a good singer.
"Let's just play virtual game." Kira said. He was curious about virtual reality. Yesterday, he haven't got a chance to try it because of his training. It seems that it's a good chance to try it now. He recalled that he had a virtual capsule in his apartment.
Yuki closed the manga she was reading and said, "Okay, let's do that! I hope my capsule explode while I'm playing and reincarnated in different world with a cheat system!"
"Eh...?" Kira was surprised. It seems that Yuki was really a die hard fan of anime and manga. She even want to reincarnate in different world with system.
Kira smiled and rubbed his chin. He wonder what would her reaction if she know that he was a transmigrator with a system. She will probably die of jealousy.
"You know that with our technology there's a low possibility that your virtual capsule will explode." Haruto looked at her, "You know that you need a lot of money if you go to other world and it's dangerous there."
"Huh?! I'm not going to the neighboring planets! What I want is a fantasy world! Plus, Kira will accompany me to fantasy world so it's not dangerous!" Yuki said to Haruto. Then, she looked at Kira and saw him chuckling.
"What are you laughing, Kira?" She said to him.
"Huh... Nothing." Kira turned his head and asked, "What is it?"
Yuki pouted and turned her head away.
"Don't forget to play later." Kenji said.
The four of them chatted and laughed for a while before they go home.

Kira opened the door of his apartment and stepped inside. He turn the light and put down his bag. He went to the corner beside the sofa and saw the virtual capsule.
Kira was quite excited looking at the virtual capsule. This was his first time using this.
"I should prepare dinner first." Kira said as he opened his refrigerator and took out the ingredients he need.
After Kira cook and eat dinner, he opened the virtual capsule and sat down inside. He wear a helmet and other accessories before he start the virtual.
[Virtual Reality On!]
"Whoa!"
Kira found himself in the street of Sagno City. Out of nowhere he arrived here in the middle of the city. This was the virtual world were people can interact to each other like in real world. They could buy online in the store and delivered it into their house.
"This is virtual world." Kira muttered as he looked around him.
"This is something else. I've once dream of playing virtual games."
Kira walked around while observing the street.
Every minute people are disappearing and appearing.
They were turning into white light before they disappeared.
"Ah! I forgot!" Kira quickly opened the menu and went to games icon.
He saw many types of games in his vision. He checked the details of each games and pondered what he should play.
After he decided, he directly entered the game he pick. He vanished in his position and arrived inside the game.
Kira found himself in an unknown forest. He minimize his own interface so that he could clearly check the game interface. If he didn't, his system will overlaps the game system.
He looked at his body and he was amazed. He really felt that he wasn't inside the game.
The sensation were too real.
"I could even feel the wind blowing on my skin."
He then looked at the game interface. He found that there's a rusty long sword inside his inventory. He took it out and walked around the forest.
Ring! Ring! Ring!
He heard a ringtone beside his ear.
"Who's calling me?"
He checked it and found that it was Kenji. He answered it directly.
"Oi! Kira! Where are you?! We're already here!" Kenji's loud voice echoed.
Kira's mouth twitched when he heard Kenji's loud voice. He opened his mouth and replied, "I'm playing Primordial World... Starting at level 1. I haven't play it before so I decided to try it."
"Primordial World...? That's extremely hard game. Well, I also play that and I'm level 39 Mage." Kenji said.
"Yeah. I'm gonna farm exp for a while. Wait for me." Kira said and he hang up the call.
He already know that this game was hard compared to others. In this game, there's no auto attack or aim. Players didn't rely on something like that in this game.
Kira picked this game because of that. He need pure combat skills if he want to rise at the top.
"Good." Kira muttered as he held the long sword in his hand. He found a small boar at the bush.
Kira charged at the boar and killed it with great effort.
"It's really a good game. I could train here to fight monster, maybe pk the player to train some combat skill." Kira muttered in amazement. He couldn't train his physical body here as he was in virtual reality, but he could train his skills here.
He contacted Kenji and played for a while. He then log off after playing for almost 5 hours.
He got up from the virtual capsule and looked at the wall clock.
"Hmm... 11 o'clock."
"I should train my body until 12 before going to sleep." Kira muttered as he started his training.
...
Ring! Ring!
The alarm woke him up. Kira reached out his hand and turn it off.
"I will enter a dojo."
Kira sat down in front of his computer and began to search for the nearest dojo.
He then quickly wear his uniform and went to school. He looked at his system and saw that his proficiency was still zero percent. A one hour body training wasn't enough to increase his proficiency after reaching the Muscle Tempering stage. It seems that he would need a month or two to reach a hundred percent proficiency.
He received «Essence Conversion» skill after he reached the Muscle Tempering stage. He still don't know how to activate it or what types of energy he could convert. He already tried it on electricity but it failed. It seems that he couldn't convert electricity into Essence Point. He doesn't have a way to figure it out. He could only guess that this world really have "supernaturals". And maybe there's type of mana here or other energy he saw in anime and novels.
"It feels like I'm playing an RPG Game in real life." Kira muttered with a hint of excitement in his voice.
He entered the classroom and was greeted by his friends.
"You're suck!" Kenji said to him.
"Me too." Yuki sighed. She also didn't play well yesterday. The game was extremely hard for people who don't know basic combats.
"Well, I'm still a newbie." Kira smiled and said. He then sat on his seat between Yuki and Kenji. His play wasn't that bad for a newbie like him. Atleast, he played better than Yuki.
"I though that I could become the Black Swordsman..." Yuki said with a dejected expression.
Kira looked at Kenji deeply. He didn't think that Kenji was so good at that game. His fighting sense and abilities were above average. He could easily respond into any kind of situation.
"What's wrong Kira?" Kenji asked him.
"Nothing, I just though how long have you been playing Primordial World." Kira shook his head.
"Half a year, I guess..." Kenji replied unsurely.
'Hais... I'm only experience in street fight.' Kira said in his mind.
