Chapter 27: Landing A Role

Patricia didn't react to the young miss's eccentric explanation of an ordinary bath. She nodded and went to prepare what she was used to preparing. Why would she change in a day?

While Jolene was busy on her phone, Patricia reappeared to claim that the bath was already ready.

When Jolene entered the luxurious bath tub, she was surprised that what she had requested was far different from what the maid had prepared.

However, Jolene did not complain about it. She seemed to be unusually calm and dipped herself in the tub while Patricia excused herself.

Jolene didn't quarrel with her maid anymore as it seemed that she was really serious about the friendship proposal.

This life that she had taken a step into was different after all, so she should not expect everything to bear a certain familiarity.

There were sets of clothes already prepared on Jolene's bed by Patricia to choose from, and Jolene picked the colour which was very flashy.
