Chapter 82: Play Along

Having breakfast together every day was becoming a norm with Yi Qin and Liu Xinyu. The latter was quite used to this situation but also felt the void of her mother in this situation even more. She missed her mother.

She was slightly distracted when Yiyi snapped her fingers to get her to focus. "Yi Qin seems to have something to say to you. He keeps looking at you."

Liu Xinyu frowned slightly and looked at Yi Qin who did look a little hesitant to talk right now.

"What is it, Yi Qin?" asked Liu Xinyu. "You have something to say? Just say it already. Why are you hesitating with me?"

Yi Qin pursed his lips and put down the soy milk glass. He clasped his fingers together and faced Liu Xinyu, "Are you getting close to Qi Yuze?"

Liu Xinyu had a look of realization. She understood why he seemed like he had something to say yet hesitated so much around her. "I remember you told me to keep a distance from him. I didn't forget."
