Daedric leaped forward, catching her hands just in time, preventing the deadly fall. With a firm pull, he lifted her back inside through the window and gently guided her to sit on a nearby chair.

"Thank you, Your Royal Highness," Dahlia said softly, lowering her eyes in gratitude, her voice trembling with sincerity.

Daedric frowned, confusion flickering in his gaze as he studied her. "Dahlia, what was that? Why were you sneaking in like a... thief?"

Dahlia hesitated for a moment, then lifted her gaze to meet his. "I didn't know the Crown Prince would be here. Earlier, I overheard the librarian and his assistant gossiping about how this library holds a rare collection of books. That's why I came to see for myself. But when I asked the guard outside, he refused to let me in. I noticed the window was open, so I thought I'd slip in that way. Please forgive me," she explained, her voice humble, eyes filled with embarrassment.
