"Aren't you heading to work?" Dahlia asked lazily, reclining back in her chair, her gaze fixed on Sullivan.
"I'm done for today," Sullivan replied, a hint of satisfaction in his voice. He moved to the cupboard and pulled out a small trunk, which immediately piqued Dahlia's curiosity.
"What's in there?" she asked, tilting her head to get a better look. When he didn't respond right away, she jumped up and hurried over to sit beside him, her excitement palpable.
Sullivan opened the trunk, revealing its contents: two detailed maps along with various other supplies. He carefully unfolded the first map, running his fingers over the intricate lines and markings.
"When we're on the other side of the border, we might need these maps," he explained, glancing at Dahlia. "I've heard that area has deeper forests than open routes. It could get tricky."
