Duan Yixin walked out of the house and went around it a few times. After checking her surroundings, she opened the glass jar and scooped out the white powder with a spoon. 

When she sprinkled the white powder on the fence and the ground, Duan Yixin was very careful not to touch it. As soon as the white powder comes into contact with the surface of the fence and ground, it dissolves and disappears. 

The effects of the white powder last for twenty-four hours and then disappear. But if someone touches the fence or the ground before the effects wear off, that person will feel itchy for at least two hours, depending on how much of the white powder they come into contact with.

Half an hour later, Duan Yixin put the remaining white powder into the warehouse and went to boil water. After washing her hands with warm water and confirming that she didn't touch the white powder, she returned to the bedroom to sleep.
