Ave's brows drew together at the annoyance she heard in his voice. "Proper lady? What made you think I'm not proper?" she asked innocently, as she had no idea what she'd done to make him look and sound annoyed all of a sudden. That was why she always said this prince was bipolar with how his mood changed faster than an unpredictable weather.

Lucian glanced at her with a raised brow. Who told this one she was proper? He'd never seen a mannerless woman with such a loose, unladylike character before, and the way she did things without caring for their consequences made him question if she had any self-awareness at all, not to mention how she had been drinking water a moment ago in front of him.
