Chapter 34: What happened to you?

I gulped, "Friends?"

"Of course, Brys! An omega like you is worthy of being friends with your principal. Don't you think so?" He grinned, looking more and more like the predator I termed him as.

The subtle scent of lemon coming from him is a bit soothing, but I can't tell what it is about him that scares me. His smiles made it seem like there were thousands of insects crawling on my arms.

Could it be because he's the principal? I think my mind fears the fact that he holds our future in his hands. Just a word from him can crush my future into dust.

"What's so special about me, sir? I'm just an ordinary Omega. Others are stronger and more unique than I am. Why did you choose me?"

Aside from the fact that I happened to be from another planet, nothing is interesting about me. I'm merely a student who once had dreams of being a librarian because of my love for books.

There is absolutely nothing special about me.
