Elvira buried her face in her knees. Her arms shielded her eyes. She didn't want them to see her tears, but her sobs were too loud. Everything was in shambles. What could she do other than cry her eyes out? Her uncle had brought her to a small keep. His men had taken Wivior right in front of her.

After asking about him many times, she had at least confirmed that he was in a jail nearby. But where? Was he in too much pain? And would they ever let him go?
