Rachel's POV

"Eeeek," I squealed and jumped on his lap, my body reacting on impulse as I hugged him tight and grinned.

"Are you that happy?" He chuckled, arms on my waist to keep me steady as I hung on to him.

"Will you look at that?" The man on the stage called out as I noticed the spotlight come on us, prompting me to bury my face in Lorenzo's shoulder.

"Awwwn," the audience cued as they caught sight of us. I could feel all the attention, prompting me to blush.

"Mrs. Rachel, Daniel Peters," the man pronounced my name. "Will you kindly let your husband walk up to the stage and pick up his award?"

"Oh God," I let out in Lorenzo's chest. I wanted to let go, however I was too shy to do so.
