Suki was bored.
"This is a drag, isn't it Suki?" Shikamaru asked with his head on the desk.
"Yeah, just wish they would go ahead and start the exam to finish so I can go ahead and do something other than sit here and do nothing." She told him.
Today was Graduation day where they would test everyone in the class if they could become a Genin or not.
Unfortunately, they are testing it in alphabetical order and they were only on D. Surprisingly, there were a lot more than the nine people who passed in the original story and because of that, she had been sitting there, doing nothing for 15 minutes already and knew that she, Sasuke, and Naruto would likely be here for another hour.
"Anything happen with you that would be interesting?" Suki asked.
"Not really. My mother wanted my father to teach me more about our Shadow Style jutsu and when we don't do that, she becomes a giant drag."
"Not much on my end. I've just been training with my Taijutsu instructor." She told him.
Another 20 minutes passed before Shikamaru was called and passed.
"You're sure that they should accept the-"
"They should. All it is is an advanced form of the jutsu they want you to do." She told him. "Don't worry too much. If you do, you'll either have white hair or be going bald by the time you're Hokage."
"Ahh! Don't say that!" He exclaimed.
Another half hour before the next person called.
"Sasuke Uchiha."
"Ahh, Sasuke!" His fan girls exclaimed.
Unfortunately, because he didn't turn full 'emo', as Naruto calls it, he gained MORE fangirls.
And even more unfortunately...
"Suki Uchiha."
"Suki!" A few boys exclaimed.
She had somehow gain fan boys. She still has no clue how that happened. She rarely interacted with anyone outside her friend group, she never dated anyone or showed interest in anyone, and was more focused on training.
Her body kept walking while her thoughts stopped.
'I became a less edgy Sasuke.' She couldn't help but think.
Once she was in the room, she stood across from two Chunin.
The first was a man with dark brown hair in a spiked up ponytail, a scar across his nose, a blue jumpsuit under a green Chunin vest, and that was all she could see since he was sitting behind a desk.
His name was Iruka, their main teacher.
The second man had shoulder length white hair and wore blue jumpsuit under his Chunin vest.
His name was Mizuki, their assistant teacher. He wasn't a full fledge teacher and was in his last year before he would be able to be a teacher by himself.
"Alright Suki, this shouldn't be too hard. All you have to do is the Clone Technique and you pass." Iruka told her with a smile.
She gathered her chakra before a puff of smoke appeared next to her, revealing an identical looking clone of her.
The two teachers were shocked though.
'No hand signs at all! She gathered up her chakra and managed to make it with no hand signs!' Iruka thought.
'No hand signs!? What is she doing in this class!? She could have already graduated if she could do that!' Mizuki thought.
"Am I done?" She asked, bored.
"Y-Yes. Grab your head band."
Iruka handed her a black clothed Konoha head band.
She raised her eyebrow, confused on why hers was black while almost everyone else's was blue.
"You graduated as the top kunoichi. The top shinobi and kunoichi of the year are given black head bands." He explained.
She nodded before grabbing it and wrapped it around her right arm between the shoulder and elbow.
"I'll be expecting great things from you Suki." Iruka told.
"Please, are you expectations that low? Anything less than great means that its an imposter." She told him with a smirk before leaving the room.
"Naruto Uzumaki."
As Naruto came up, she placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Remember, don't be nervous. You didn't train with Sasuke and I to fall here right? At least, I hope the future Hokage doesn't." She told him.
He breathed out before smiling.
"You're right. A Hokage can't be afraid of a small test!" With that, he went into the room.
She smirked before turning and leaving.
As she exited the building, she saw someone leaning against a tree under some shadows, making it slightly hard to see them.
"What are you still doing here? Don't tell me you didn't expect me to pass?" She asked.
Sasuke tsked. "Please, if you didn't pass, no one in this year would have."
"Ah, how sweet."
"So, how do you think the dobe will do?" He asked.
She had a small smile.
Over the years, Sasuke almost turned into his canon part, being anti-social with a one track mind. However, due to her interference, he now had at least her as a friend and had already essentially decided that Naruto could be a rival.
That actually happened about a year ago when Suki told him how much chakra Naruto had.
'Seriously, you think I have a lot, if I compared it to his, I have a raindrop while he has a 4 gallon bucket.' She commented.
"Please, he may not be able to do the clone technique, but he can use another version of it. If they fail him, I'll be shocked." She told him.
"You going to train with Lee?"
"Not today. His team is out on a mission for the next three days at least. I'll probably train more tonight before heading to bed." She informed him.
They stood there for a bit before Suki turned.
"I'll see you later."
With that, she left with the intent of getting some night training.
As much as she hated it, she picked up some of Lee's training habit. She liked it and continued to do it because she could feel herself getting stronger. She hated it though because she feels like that is all she does. Train morning, afternoon, and night. Sasuke has even told her that the training ground is usually the first place he goes to find her.
*Few hours later*
"Begin!" A voice cried out.
Four figures dashed towards each other before starting a fist fight.
The four figures were clones of Suki.
One ducked under a fist, only to quickly block a knee. The Suki felt a weight on her back before the one she was fighting backed off, dodging a kick. The Suki that ducked grabbed the legs of the one that jumped off her back and spun her into the fourth one that started coming at her.
She let go, sending Suki #3 at #4, crashing into her chest. #4 prepared though and slammed a knee upwards, hitting the middle of #3's chest, dispelling it. #2 dashed forward and leg swept her feet under her, causing her to lose balance slightly, enough for her to miss #4's punch, hitting her face.
She flew backwards and rolled before stopping.
Suki looked up and saw #2 and #4 fighting. She weaved hand signs before her fists caught fire.
The two looked at her.
"Hey! This is pure Taijutsu! No chakra or anything chakra related!" #2 exclaimed.
"Don't care!" Suki exclaimed.
Before feeling something in her chest.
She looked down and saw a blade sticking through.
"Ah, would you look at that?" She started.
The blade swung upwards, splitting her in half before dispelling.
The person who had stabbed the revealed clone was the actually Suki.
"We're done. It's about 10 now. Dispel yourselves." She told.
The two clones did just that, returning the small amount of chakra they had back to her.
"Man, I keep forgetting that I 'experience' everything that they do." She rubbed the middle of her chest. "I really don't like that phantom feeling of being stabbed but not actually being stabbed."
She put her hand into her kunai pouch.
"I need to refill this soon. I still have enough, but I've had them for awhile." She muttered.
She had finished training now and was preparing to return back home before she heard a sound. She turned towards the direction it came from and saw a figure jumping through the trees.
With white hair.
'Mizuki?' She thought.
She quickly followed behind him but stayed a good distance away.
She noticed he stopped before stopping as well just as he threw something.
She heard a blade enter what sounded like flesh before someone cried out.
She tensed.
'Naruto?' She thought. 'This makes no sense. He should have passed and needed no reason to take that scroll.'
She slowly made her way closer and saw a sight that turned her sharingan on.
Originally, Iruka shielded Naruto from a demon wheeled shuriken [think giant shuriken] that he threw.
That didn't happen.
Whatever led up to it, Naruto apparently pushed Iruka out of the way and now had it in his shoulder.
"Looks like I finally get to kill the demon." Mizuki told with a sneer.
"Demon?" Naruto muttered, one hand grabbing the shuriken.
"Doesn't matter, since you'll be dead!" He yelled before suddenly throwing another one.
"Kyūmon!" She exclaimed before shooting forward and grabbing the shuriken, stopping it before it could impale the back of Iruka.
"Suki!?" Naruto and Iruka exclaimed.
"Can't leave you alone for a night, can I?" She asked.
"So you would defend that demon huh?" Mizuki asked.
"The hell are you going on about? Naruto is no demon." She told him.
"Really? Do you remember the nine-tails attack that occurred 13 years ago?"
"Yeah? Who doesn't?" She asked.
"A rule was created on that day. A rule that demanded that no one tell or speak of."
"What rule?" Naruto asked.
"The rule that we would never tell Naruto, that he IS the nine tailed fox!" Mizuki declared.
Naruto, in shock and disbelief, ran off.
"Naruto!" Suki exclaimed, taking her eyes off of Mizuki. She turned back, just to see lightning slowly making its way towards her.
Perception turned into a crawl as her body did its best to avoid it, but it was too close.
She was able to avoid it striking her head, but instead hitting her shoulder.
"Gah!" She gritted her teeth.
When it faded, Mizuki had already left.
"Suki, are you alright!?" He asked.
"No..time." She slightly growled before standing back up. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" She exclaimed, creating three clones.
She looked at them and saw it.
They all had Kyūmon activated as well.
The four of them dashed off, leaving Iruka alone.
*With Naruto*
He backed up against a tree as Mizuki dispelled his last clone.
'Damn! If my arm didn't get injured, I could have made enough to beat him into a pulp!' He thought.
The wound was already healing, but at the moment, he could still barely feel his left arm.
"My boss originally wanted you and the scroll, but he'll have to make due with the scroll!" He exclaimed before throwing several shuriken that he used a justu on to make them turn into hundreds.
Naruto closed his eyes, waiting for the pain.
That never came.
He slowly opened his eyes and looked up and saw a sight that he had only seen in some nightmares.
Suki stood in front of him with shuriken littering her back.
'No..' He thought.
He felt something stir up inside him.
Suddenly, she vanished, stopping him cold from confusion.
"What?" He muttered aloud.
"Sorry about that," A voice started before three figures appeared in front of him.
All three were Suki.
"I wish I didn't have to do that, but they were too close for me to use a jutsu to get rid of them." The middle one spoke.
"You...your alive." He muttered.
"Tell you what, as an apology, I'll treat you to Ichiraku's after this." She told him. "First, let take out the trash."
Seeing three solid clones in front of him, Mizuki did something that Suki wasn't expecting.
"My lord, give me power!" He exclaimed.
'What?'
Suddenly, his skin turned a dark grey as his features turned monstrous.
Her eyes widened.
'Curse Mark.'
"I'lL KiLl YoU. I'lL mAkE yOu DeAd!" Mizuki exclaimed before dashing at her at Jounin Speeds.
"Shōmon!" Three voices exclaimed before their skin turned red and a faint green aura appeared around them.
Their hands blurred before they caught fire.
"You tried to kill Naruto." The one on the left started.
"You tried to kill me." The one on the right continued.
"Worse," The one in the middle started as the flames spread upwards, expanding up to her elbows. "You decided to become my opponent."
The two on the sides vanished before the one of the left slammed a knee into his chest, causing him to fold over. The one on the right slammed her flaming right fist into his chin, causing an explosion that sent him flying upwards.
"Fire Style:...Flames of the Broken Limit." She announced before the flames moved to her right fist and became sharp and wild, gaining a slight purple color.
Similar to how Gai has techniques in different gates, this was Suki's first gate technique. To use it, she must have opened the 4th gate Shōmon and is using Fire Style: Flame Attack.
It increases the power of the flames, making them run wild as well as intensify them, causing them to gain some purple of the flame that she found so long ago.
"For all of that, you will die," She announced before jumping at him with enough force to leave a small dent in the ground. "You...baaaaastard!"
She appeared in front of him almost instantly.
There were three people watching the fight.
Naruto, who was still in shock of what she did after being told he was the literal nine tailed demon, Iruka who had managed to catch up, and the Third Hokage, who was watching from his crystal ball.
This event stuck in their memories for a long time.
She shot her arm forward, creating a boom from her arm alone.
The instant it struck him though, it creates a MUCH louder bang.
The collision created a massive orange and purple explosion that it made it seem like day for a few seconds.
The explosion and its force disintegrated Mizuki before he could even feel anything.
'Amazing.' Was what ran through Naruto's mind.
The second was a dark figure coming towards him and Iruka at a very fast speed.
They could barely acknowledge it before the figure slammed into the ground in front of them. Creating a crater around the person.
They quickly looked and saw it was Suki, her skin turning back to normal.
"Suki!" Naruto exclaimed before almost grabbing her back.
"Don't!" She managed to exclaim, stopping him at the abruptness. "My muscles are strained enough that touching them may hurt."
Not a moment after that, several ANBU members appeared around them.
"Iruka, what was that." One ordered.
"That was Genin Suki doing her duty and eliminating a traitor of the Leaf known as Mizuki." He explained.
One leaned down and grabbed her shoulder, causing her to grit her teeth. The ANBU quickly released her.
"Gate Limit usage. Likely 4th gate or higher based on previous injuries of Gai." One whispered to their leader.
They nodded before turning towards Naruto.
"Lord Hokage wants to talk to you and would like your debriefing Iruka-san."
"And Suki?" Naruto asked.
"She's going to the hospital so they can check how badly she hurt herself." He told before placing a hand on her shoulder and disappearing with her via Shunshin.
All the while, Suki had one thought in mind.
'I just killed someone.'
Suki opened her eyes slowly and saw a ceiling that she could almost tell you what room it was based on the ceiling alone.
'Great, I'm at the hospital again.' She thought. 'At this rate I'll have to rent a room if I come here more often.'
She looked around and saw that it was day out, likely about 9:30-10 in the morning if the Sun's position was any indicator.
"What happened this time?" She muttered aloud.
"You overused the Gates once more, Suki-chan." A voice spoke out, causing her to swing her head towards the direction it came from.
"Hokage-sama?" She asked, not really expecting him to be the first person she would have seen after waking up.
"How much do you remember about last night?" He asked.
Seeing that he likely needed to know for some reason, she thought back.
"I was out training and about to head home. Until I heard a sound and noticed someone." She spoke aloud. "The sound came from Mizuki." She slightly growled out, remembering more as she continued to speak. "I saw him heading towards an area of the forest at a high speed. I found it suspicious due to the fact that he's a teacher and isn't supposed to take missions until a week after the end of the year." She continued.
From there, she told him the rest that she could remember: Arriving and seeing him attack Iruka and Naruto, activating Kyūmon, saving Naruto and Iruka from another attack, being blinded, finding him again and finishing him off by using most of her chakra in a fire jutsu.
"Then, I woke up here." She finished.
He sighed. "Suki, while I have to commend you for taking down a traitor of the Leaf, I must remind you that that was dangerous, even for you. Especially when he 'transformed' as you say, that would have made him even more dangerous."
"I couldn't do nothing. If I did, Naruto likely would have been hurt or killed. If overusing my gates gets me in here and keeps the people I care about above ground, I'll gladly take that exchange." She told him.
They sat in silence for a moment.
"Hokage-sama," She started. "Why don't I feel anything?"
"Hmm? Should I go get a nurse?" He started to stand.
"Not like that." She told him, stopping him. "Mizuki's death. Why don't I feel anything from killing him?" He stayed quiet for a moment. "Shouldn't I feel...I don't know...grief that I had to take a life?"
He sighed once more. "Let me guess, you're thinking 'I just killed someone. Shouldn't I feel awful? What's wrong with me?'" He waited before continuing. "I'm afraid the answer is worse than you might think. A person's first kill has been vastly demonized throughout time from parent to child. While you are being trained to be a kunoichi, that mindset has stayed the same since you were a child. The truth is, most feel nothing. You take the life and move on."
He took another breath.
"Some people want to believe that because we may have more intelligence than most animals besides summons, that we are the only ones capable of seeing right from wrong. The truth is that there is no such thing as good or evil. Humans created them, which means good and evil did not exist until we declared so. A tiger does not worry about ending the life of its prey if it must to survive. Killing is easy and simple. There's no greater power that will prevent you from killing. Only thing that stops humans from killing other humans, is themselves." He finished.
They sat in silence as Suki digested the words he said.
"So, the feeling that people are supposed to feel upon killing someone isn't actually real?" She asked.
He shook his head. "That's not what I said. The feeling can be there depending on who did the killing. A civilian will likely be haunted by it depending on their professions. Ninjas, they don't often feel that feeling because it eventually becomes too common felt. Many say the first kill is the worst, but in actuality, they are talking about the realization that they don't feel anything from it. It also depends on who was killed. Nobody will truly care if it is a stranger, but you will obviously feel remorse, regret, and sadness if it is someone you have once cared for." He explained.
She sighed before laying back on the bed they provided.
"How long until I'm out?" She asked.
"You can go ahead and leave, but the medics told be to give you a warning. If you use anything past the second gate again within the next two months, you will cause damage that could become permanent." He warned her.
She nodded, indicating she understood.
"Also, since Mizuki was a chunin-level traitor, you will receive a C-rank bounty pay."
She looked at him before raising an eyebrow. "And that's..."
"94,000 Ryo." [About $1,000]
Her eyes slightly widened at that.
'That's almost covers all my expenses for about 2 months alone! Good thing that the village covers the rent of orphans that aren't put into an orphanage.'
Because of that law, she, Naruto, and Sasuke don't pay any expenses until they are either 16 for a civilian or start taking D-rank missions as Genin.
"I'll have it placed into your account by the end of the day." He stood up and went to the door before stopping. He looked over his shoulder. "You may want to hurry. Teams are being announced at 11."
No sooner than the door closed shut, did she get up and put her own clothing back on.
She quickly signed out of the hospital before jumping on top of the buildings and making her way towards the Academy.
*Half hour later*
She reached the Academy before walking towards their room.
She grabbed the door and opened it to see a sight that she didn't expect.
Naruto lip locking with Sasuke.
She noticed that some people looked in her direction.
She closed the door, blinked to regain her composure, and opened it again to see the two seemingly trying to throw up.
"Naruto you idiot!"
"Agh! My mouth feels like it's rotting!"
Suki pinched the bridge of her nose and shook her head before looking sharply above Naruto.
He stopped complaining before freezing in place. He slowly looked around and saw a bunch of fangirls clenching their fists while looking at him.
"Naruto-baka." The group seemed to say as one.
He backed up slightly and they moved forward.
One of the closer ones threw a punch before finding it caught.
The group's eyes seemed to widen as they took a step backward.
"Now, there's really no reason to react over this, is there?" Suki asked with a head tilt. "I mean, we can all agree that he likely will deny this until his grave. So everyone here could believe that it never happened and not have to hurt anyone right?"
Throughout the years at the Academy, there were a few unspoken rules.
1. You do not call Choji Akimichi fat.
2. You do not challenge Shikamaru Nara in a shogi game and expect to win.
And 3. You do not hurt Naruto Uzumaki and expect Suki Uchiha to have mercy on you.
"Right?" She asked again, clenching her fist slightly, making sure that they understood.
"R-Right! I-It's not like anything happened!" One of the fangirls said.
Suki gave a closed eye smile. "Right, nothing happened at all."
With that, they went back to their seats as Suki held a hand out for him.
"Thanks Suki."
She pulled him to his feet before bopping him on the head. Not light enough that he didn't feel it, but not strong enough to actually hurt him.
"Ow! Why?" He complained.
"Think of that as their punishment. I could tell them I've changed my mind if you don't think that was enough?" She told him.
"No no no! That's fine!" He exclaimed, moving his arms back and forth quickly.
"Then let's take our seats and wait."
The two went and sat down in their seats. Sasuke by the window, Naruto by the aisle, and Suki in between them.
"Hospital?" Sasuke asked.
"Yep."
"Training?"
"Nope."
He raised an eyebrow. "Fighting someone?"
"Yep."
"Lee?"
"Nope."
"Who would want to fight you besides him?" He asked.
"Confidential information as of right now." She told him.
Not long after they finished talking, Iruka arrived and stood at the front of the room.
"Now, all of you have proven that you have the capabilities to become ninjas the village could rely on in the future. Today, you will be assigned to a three man group with a Jounin as your leader. You will follow your Sensei's instructions to complete your future missions." He spoke out. "Furthermore, we try to balance out each team."
"Team 1..." He started listing off.
"Any thoughts on your team?" Suki asked both of them.
"Obviously you." Both of them stated at the same time before glancing at each other. "And not him."
She chuckled. "I'm surprised that you both want me on your teams."
"Please," Sasuke started. "We both have seen how you and Lee train. You're practically a Chunin without the rank to us."
"Especially with the skills you have." Naruto continued.
He wasn't wrong. While she couldn't spam Shadow Clones like Naruto could, she could make up to 7 of them before they went down to high Genin - Low Chunin rank in her opinion.
"Team 7 will be Naruto Uzumaki, Suki Uchiha-" He started.
"Yes!"
"-and Sasuke Uchiha."
Normally, Naruto would have claimed that he had no need for Sasuke to be on his team, but they both have seen how each other could keep up with the other while having skills the other didn't.
Naruto could use his clones to overpower a lot of people just by numbers alone, while Sasuke's skills come from powerful and precise attacks, along side his elemental jutsu.
"Team 8 will be Shino Aburame, Kiba Inuzuka, and Hinata Hyuuga. Team 9 is still in circulation, and Team 10 will be Ino Yamanaka, Choji Akimichi, and Shikamaru Nara." He finished. "You're Jounin instructors will be by to pick you up later today."
"Until then, you are free to leave for lunch. Be back by 1."
With that, everyone went to get lunch.
*Later*
Sasuke could be seen laying his head down on the desk while Suki could be seen meditating, practicing her control of her chakra.
Naruto had placed an eraser on top of the door and was waiting for their sensei to arrive.
The door started to open before the eraser fell, falling on top of a head of grey hair.
"Hahahaha!" Naruto laughed. "You fell for it! You totally fell for it!"
Kakashi bent down and picked up the eraser.
"Hmm. My first impression of you guys, I don't like you." He commented. He then turned around before looking over his shoulder at them.
"Meet me on the roof." He then Shunshined away.
Suki Shunshined away as well.
Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other.
"Stairs?"
"Stairs."
------------------------------------------------
"Well, let's begin with introductions." Kakashi began.
"Would you care to demonstrate?" Suki asked.
"Oh? Well, my name is Kakashi Hatake, I have no desire to tell you my likes or dislikes, my dreams.....and I have a lot of hobbies."
'We learned nothing except his name.' Sasuke and Naruto thought.
"Alright, how about we start from the right."
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki, what I like is ramen, when Iruka pays for my Ramen, Suki, when Suki pays for my ramen..."
'Is all he think about mainly ramen?' Kakashi thought.
"My dream...is to surpass the Hokage and have the village acknowledge my existence!"
"Alright, how about the misses goes next."
"My name is Suki Uchiha. My likes are training, hanging out with Naruto and Sasuke, sparring with Lee. My dislikes are people who give up easily, people who see a problem and do nothing about it, and the standard hates." She told.
"Standard hates?" Kakashi asked.
"Cocky pricks, Bandits, people who take advantage of others, that stuff. Things most people hate." She explained. He nodded before gesturing for her to continue.
"My hobbies include training, reading, and swords practicing. My dream, is to become strong enough, that no one will even think of trying to fight me. That people will know me by name only." She told.
'So a mix between Gai and an Uchiha.' He thought. 'Gai, you have truly made a monster.'
"Alright, Almost Emo can wrap this up."
Sasuke slightly sneered at that name. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha. There are plenty of things I hate, with Dobe just barely almost making it off the list. I have very few likes-"
"Tomatoes." Suki cut in.
"Heyyy." Sasuke couldn't help the slight groan.
"Don't forget Suki." Naruto chimed in.
"My goal!" Sasuke spoke loudly. "Is to restore my clan and bring a certain person to justice."
'So he really was almost emo.' Kakashi thought.
"Alright," Kakashi started. "Tomorrow we will begin our ninja duties."
"Duties!" Naruto exclaimed. "What kind of duties!"
"First, we will be doing something involving only the four of us."
"Huh?" Naruto asked aloud.
"Survival training." Kakashi stated.
"Why survival training?" Suki asked.
For some reason, Kakashi started to chuckle.
"Why are you laughing?" Sasuke asked.
"It's just, when I tell you guys this, you'll freak out." Kakashi told.
"What?"
He gained a serious look in his eye. "Of the 27 graduates, only 9 will be chosen to become Genin. The rest will be sent back to the Academy. This test has over a 66% fail rate."
Naruto gained a shocked face while the other two didn't seem too affected, besides a sweat drop from Sasuke.
"Haha, I told you you would freak out."
"What!? No way! All of us worked hard to get to this point! What was the point of graduating!?" Naruto exclaimed.
"Weeding." Suki muttered, catching their attention.
"Pardon?" Kakashi asked.
"Graduating is to weed out the ones not worth the time of this test. There would be no point of those who fail the graduation test to even attempt this test. Am I right?" Suki asked.
"Correct. If the students can't master the three basic jutsu, then they are a lost cause to begin with." Kakashi explained. "Anyways, tomorrow you'll have to show your real skills on the training grounds. Bring all the shinobi tools you have. Oh, also skip breakfast. Otherwise, you'll throw up."
With that, he disappeared via Shunshin.
"I'll see you two at the training grounds tomorrow." Suki told before vanishing as well.
She headed back to her apartment and spent the rest of the day resting her body.
'Kakashi is a high Jounin level with years of actual combat experience under his belt. To add onto that, I won't have access to my Gates, leaving me with what I have only.' She thought.
She laid in silence before falling asleep with one last thought.
'I may have Chunin level skills and only one true fight under my belt, but I'll not leave that field until he puts that book up.'
----------------------------------------
That's that! With this chapter completed, the three of them are about to take Kakashi's infamous test.
Here's a sneak peek.
'"I didn't say start-"
"You said now!"
-------------------------------
'"Lesson two: Genjutsu!"
The two of them stood still before Suki dead panned.
"Really? Against an Uchiha?"
--------------------------------
'"Don't you dare laugh."
"I won't. Don't want to get...ahead of myself-Gah!"
...
"Karma's-"
"A bitch, yeah, yeah."
