Chapter 29: Last teammate
Navenia knew she wasn't going to be killed so she decided not to heal herself or keep herself conscious. This was a test and they were told not to kill each other although they could injure themselves heavily if need be but not kill.
She still left enough healing power in her body so she could recover quickly after being unconscious. She also wasn't going to use her secret techniques since she was special anyways.
This was just some test and she wanted to investigate or win by her own regular strength. Anything else was extra and she would only reveal to her future teammates.
It was also dangerous for outsiders to know what she possessed.
However she did not expect to be shoved into a box! To make it worse she was conscious thought all the time. She was painfully conscious of all the time that had passed. She wondered if her temporary teammates would come get her.
Well she might as well take a nap and not use an ounce of her energy to get out. She wasn't going to get injure.
The actual objective of their mission was to test these guys and see if they found them worthy to join them. That was why she didn't bother going above and beyond other than "observing," what they did.
Just as she was about to start dreaming she heard someone opening her box.
Navenia looked at them annoyed.
Navenia: "NOW, you guys come get me! I was about to finally have a nice rest. While it may seem like I am in the worst state. I think i actually got the best side. I mean, getting sleeping during testing time and not only not getting injured but also not using much energy whilst actually completing the mission. That is right, I may have been seen that I was stuck here but I could actually see what was happening. You guys got fooled by the scream. Ehh come on let's meet them all."
Ned: "Sureeee, excuses. I will believe it when I see that badge."
Ned helped Navenia out of the boxes and introduced everyone to her.
Grace's team was a little puzzled at the need for introductions and talk with their "enemies." They were kind of in a hurry to get back but we're waiting for the lady pf the house to give them something to take back.
Ned: " Well we have discussed it amongst ourselves and we all agree that you are all very capable and most certainly one of the strongest team. "
Someone else: " The actual more important mission of this challenge was to actually convince one of us to fill your team. Most of us were impressed but there is one person among us who claimed you guys. We decided to let that person join you because they have been waiting the longest amongst our temporary team and we have never seen them as sure as today. They could also fight for it and none of us have energy left for that. Navenia please?"
Navenia: " If you will accept this badge, you will not regret it. However think about what this could mean and make your decision. I will give you five minutes."
Jolin, Mark, Grace, Mal, and Liam gathered together to discuss what this all meant.
Jolin :" could it be that Navenia is essentially asking for our permission to join. Mal you doubt her what do you think?"
Mal: "girl has some moves. I mean, she seemed interesting. Can might on her own. I had to use all my strength to subdue her. It also felt like she was holding back. I have a good feeling. Plus she seems smart even though it may seem like she wasn't strong."
Jolin: "Well if it means anything I approve. I feel like she belongs with us somehow."
Grace: "If Jolin feels like she belongs with us then so be it. I am going blind her but if he feels she is special then she just have what we lack."
Liam: "she is definitely hiding her true powers. Let her join."
Mark: "Wow. Ok ok. I will let her join us. Also I mean, it's nice having another girl that isn't just grace jeje."
Grace rolled her eyes. They all then turned around and got in front of them.
Mark: "We accept your badge. We all hope to truly get to know you as we feel you are also special like us." We now have to hurry back as time is running out. Am sure your temporary teammates need your help in getting back to wherever you came from."
Navenia: " Thank you. We will see each other on this new coming day. Farewell for now."
Grace's Group then hurriedly jogged it back with Navenias badge and understood that they were finally a team. They were excited to find out more about her. They also hoped she was "softer" than grace. Of course that's what only the guys thought.
