Chapter 25: Back at Camp
The day came when everyone came back to the camp. This time, they were all escorted and were transported through various methods to the main camp. They were all moved together into a cabin, and asked to move their things to their new place. Mark decided to move into Joiln's and Grace's cabin. To their surprise, one of the instructors came in and brought Mal's things to the cabin. She would be joining them soon. They were excited because it meant Mal was fine but also a little worried because of the training.
They decided they would drag her through the courses together or have her training as something else for the moment. After all, they still needed a sabotage, intelligence, scout person type member.
A few minutes later, they were even more astonish, they saw Five coming in.
Five: " Guess what guys, am on the team now."
Everyone just stared in surprise.
Jolin: "Wait, what..really?How?"
Five: "Because of my amazing skills of course. How, wll I just walked in here after informing the instructors of my change which they agreed to. The more the merrier right?"
Grace: "Of course."
Mark: "Well you are still in my radar man."
Five: "Come on guys, one question a day please. Umm, where's Mal? She should be here."
Mark: "How or why would you know such a thing? We didn't even."
Five: "O just a feeling. jeje."
They all decided to just go check their schedules in the board and look at their individual training plans. At least once a week they would have a common exercise day where everyone gathered together and about 3 days would be of team. One day would be One of one with certain instructors and the others self practice, testing, challenges, or special missions with instructors.
After that, Grace volunteered to take Mal's stuff to the room right next to hers. While she was off dropping things at her room the guys started talking to each other about it.
Mark: "Well, how is it that the least manly looking guy seems to be trying to steal Jolin's girl."
Jolin: " First of all, she isn't my girl. Secondly, you guys are seeing things. They just get well. PLus you all sound more jealous than me. I mean, she is one of my best friends so, I have a right to feel left out. What about you all."
Mark: " All I am saying is, it's the first time I meet a girl this great and am already at a disadvantage because of Mal. It ain't fair. However, if she can be cool with someone from Tycoon city then I guess that's worth the knowledge."
Five: "Well, maybe if you all treated talked to her more normally Mal wouldn't have to do all the talking."
Jolin: " Mister mysterious trying to defend Mal? Well well, whose side are you on anyways? Plus, it takes a lot to gain grace's trust."
Five :" Alright fine fine. Lets get in there and make Grace love as as much as she loves you Jolin jeje. Better than nothing. "
At that instant Grace came out and looked at them weird. She then realized it might be see weirdly if she kept trying to do everything for Mal. After all, they wouldn't know that Mal was really a girl and a very strong one at that. Therefore, the guys wouldn't understand the sisterhood they formed via their secret and grace could finally ask for help if she ever needed a girls help. She also stared at five who seemed more jealous and angry at her.
Grace thought to herself, " Shouldn't he be all nice to me like all the puppy eyes the other guys are making me? O well, weird dude."
Grace: " Jeez guys, me and Mal are just great buddies. Now all of you show me your technique, maybe that way we can know each other better. "
Mark immediately jumped up from the sofa and started showing some moves that he could do with the space allowed.
Grace: " Wow, that was actually really good for a sons businessman."
Mark narrowed his eyes and just said, "youuuuu."
Grace then laughed and praised his bodies strength.
Five shocked his head and said it was all about weapons with him. He wasn't about to be judge by her.
Everyone laughed and started sharing plans for their off hours. Grace proposed sharing the bathroom with Jolin and Mal and then Mark and Five could share the other. They still technically still had room for another member but they wouldn't worry about it too much. They headed out to grab and buy some more supplies.
When they came back, they made Five talk about himself a bit more. They all got serious and talked about their future and how they needed to start showing their true selfs so that they could get closer and help each other in the future.
Five finally started speaking about himself. He explained how he was from Tutlera city and from a house that also possessed General house rings and the sort. He showed him his hands and then everyone started to show each other their general house rings. This meant they could all start learning how to incorporate those strengths and use that to help them all.
Jolin: " Well sorry to disappoint you all but mine GHR isn't anything too special. Well i mean, it increases unity between my family members and my loyalty to them. Since you guys may become my family, it may help us grow together and you can count on me putting my body in danger for you all. "
Grace: " My GHR gives us Endurance, this becomes especially handy whilst fighting. It allows me to continue going further without getting as exhausted that easily. I usually try to increase my endurance naturally and then if i need to, start using its power."
At that moment, it was already night when they suddenly got interrupted by a knock at the door.
Five immediately got up and opened the door.
Five: "Hey, you're finally here."
Mal :" Ugh, yea, of course. Can I come here in. Also, i didn't know you would be joining us."
Five: " Right come in. Your things are already in your room, Grace can show you later."
Everyone else: " Mal, hey you're looking great. You sure you almost died?"
Mal: "Hey guy. Yea I am great. I have an amazing home doctor. Also I have more lives than a cat. Come on."
Grace: " Am so happy to know you are fine. Maybe you can get Five her to tell us his name finally."
Mal: " That's easy, haven't you noticed the plaque outside the door. It has all our names. I knew all of theme except one. "
Mark: " What!"
Jolin: " I did't see anything when we came back. I bet they just placed it there not long after."
Mal: " You are right. They actually just placed it there when i was coming to knock. Isn't that right Liam."
Five: " Ahh come on. Yes, it's Liam. But let's talk about you and how you have been this past days."
They continued to talk and to catch up. Afterwards they all headed early to bed because the next day would surely be interesting. Liam kept stealing glances towards Mal now and there. If anyone noticed, they would think that it was just him making sure Mal was fine and more of a curious tone.
