When Julian thought "guardian", the last thing he expected was a woman seemingly younger than he was who looked like she should be on the cover of a magazine rather than working in a library. Her outfit was inexpensive but she was far prettier than most of the high society women Isaac associated with.

He didn't like them. They always wanted something from him simply because his last name was Shea.

Perhaps that natural distrust of that type of woman was why he bluntly asked her if she was going to give out his address to people. She seemed rather offended by that and then essentially called him stupid. No one in his entire life had called him that so he didn't even know how to respond as she began sputtering out apologies.
