I was sitting in the classroom, my focus solely on the pages of the book in front of me, trying to maintain a sense of normalcy despite the chaos that had enveloped my life. Surprisingly, everything seemed as calm as it could be after my failure to meet up with Anna. I never thought she would just let it go, but once Ethan assured me he would handle it, I allowed myself to relax and just forget about it.

Who knew that was ever even an option for me? It was one of the things I liked about Ethan, he made me feel so safe that when he tells me to relax, I just do. He really is turning out to be the perfect man. I just wonder how he handled all this since he didn't volunteer the information himself. But him not talking about it wasn't actually weird for him as Ethan only really told me things if I asked. I just wanted to ignore this despite being more than a bit suspicious about what exactly went down.
